How can I ask T-Mobile questions about their cellular plans without being a customer ? Thinking of switching but not sure.

I like to have things in writing.

Can't find a email address.

I wish all companies would do stuff over email rather than requiring a phone call or coming into their business. But, likely you have to call them or go to a branch, or, maybe write them a snail mail letter.

T-Mobile seems fairly pointless these days with the intro of prepaid plans from AT&T and Verizon. I like that they forced the bigger companies into providing options for no contract, and used them myself for a couple years because it was only $40. I just recently switched to AT&T's $40/6GB prepaid plan though and am enjoying actually having service when I leave the city.

Do you across country drive much? My wife and I do and we found T-mobile coverage sucks if you aren't near a city. I didn't want to, but I switched to AT&T. I don't like paying more, but I like the peace of mind knowing I'll have a signal on the open road.

Sometimes.

Is this even along the interstate? Thanks

Yes, that is pretty much all we travel is the interstate.

Ok thanks.

The reason we wanted to switch to T-Mobile is because of the unlimited 4g lte tething plan for $25 extra a month.

I guess T-Mobile is not worth it if you travel outside cities like you said.

Honestly and without hyperbole I can say that dealing with T-Mobile and their phone support system is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Abandon all hope ye who enter here.

Plus, T-Mobile's coverage sucks.

Why does T-Mobile coverage map look really good then? Just wondering. Is it fake or really only normal 4g or 3g?

I currently have ATT cellular but recently was only able to get normal 4g when going on vacation. Sucked.

I would say their coverage map is fake. I had them for two years and just recently switched to Verizon. There are areas near me that are labeled 4Glte on their map that just don't have coverage at all. They're along major freeways in a semi rural area and I travel through them frequently. Got tired of dropping calls and music connections.

With T-Mobile's coverage map you have to really zoom in to see what's going on. If I click on my area when zoomed out, the popup says all is great. When I zoom in to my house it says, "cell reception outdoors and occasionally indoors". In my experience, connecting a device outdoors in my area is hit or miss and mostly miss.
