T-shaped case?

Caught this on slashdot http://www.lope.com.tw/i-tee.htm. What do you think?

Too big and bulky. They need to copy the G4 tower. Then I might reconsider.

I don't think its that great looking, but some things are appealing. Like not having to crawl behind your computer to connect wires.

Conversely, its probably a huge pain in the ass to connect IDE wires since the case opens like a clam shell.

Some pluses, some minuses... just like every other case out there. Not my kind of thing though.

I just think it looks bizarre. I might go for it if it offered some noticeable increase in cooling performance.

I've seen these things in a local shop. Construction didn't look that good to me...but I gotta give them points for innovation...

Unless you had some very long IDE cables (or used SCSI), you might have problems hooking up the drives with the motherboard part flopped down all the way; that could be a PITA. They also don't look very compact; distributed computing freaks like me who want to have as many computers as possible in the smallest space wouldn't be in the market for one.

I think it looks pretty neat. I'd be concerned with cooling of drives. I don't see a front fan and perhaps the HDDs would be in extreme dead-air spots. Hmmm...

Furthermore, the power supply is under the drives. Nice to have another source of heat beneath them.

Nope. A few points for not thinking in the standard manner when it comes to design but design is at it's best when combined with engineering.

har... another Slashdot thing. Their ideas they publish are too much like the Enquirer news print. Too extreme/dumb/one sided.

Anyone ever confirm the 10th planet that was found in our solar system past Pluto that Slashdot had out? I have been telling my father that Slashdot mostly puts out lies. I never even bothered checking the 'real' news to see if this was true. I figured if one was found it would be the news of the world.

But he reads that trash every day and believes in it like it were the good bible... or whatever else you look up that is the truth.

That case has a somewhat obscure good look though, and I cant place it.
