T3 was decent but T2 was a hell of a lot better.

Major areas where the movie fell short:

1. There is no scoring, at all, except for the closing credits. Instead, for a soundtrack, the producer seems to have a fetish with overdone explosions.
2. The blond chick that plays the TX... is she unable to act or what? I guess that's why they practically gave her a non-speaking role. She has maybe 10 lines in the entire movie, none of them more than 2 words except for "I like your car" and "I like your gun".
3. Plot/pseudotechnical inconsistencies.... can't go into too much detail on these without some spoilage.

It certainly wasn't the best sequel ever. I admit, I was a little bit shocked by the ending. I had a little bit of an idea what was coming, but I didn't really think they'd do it. That darn monkey.

The monkey wasn't damned, he was just down on his luck and misunderstood.

they should have stroked it (monkey)

I liked the movie a lot hardly any slow areas unlike the whole trinity neo love bit.

Did they digitally alter Arnolds face to make him look younger. I hardly noticed his age.

The first Terminator was by far the best movie. I didn't care much for T2 because Arnold's dialog in the movie was at times too comical. In The original Terminator, Arnold was a killing machine and he scared the crap out of you. In T2 and T3 they gave his character funny lines which took away from his overall fear factor. There should not be any humor of any kind in a Terminator movie.

The real spoiler is that a test monkey actually runs through an experimental time portal being tested at the same building which contains skynet. The monkey caused some distortion error and destroyed everything.

No no, that's not it. The best part was when the robot ants started attacking the cyber-pigeon. Man, that was quite the battle.

You guys are jerks for telling about the monkey. Unlike most movies that are predictable none of my friends expected that to happen either.

Um, T2 was never meant to be comical. Watch the Special Features section of the T2 DVD. The only part remotely funny in T2 was where John was teaching him the "lingo" in the car.

T3 was surprising - I was expecting more. Like every other damn movie out nowadays, it was over CGI'ed. A lot of action but I was kind of disappointed really.

I LOVED IT!!!! As for "greatest sequel ever'? By far the best 3rd movie in a sequel and way way way better than Matrix Reloaded (that just plain sucked).

As for humor...in the first movie he was a bad guy and in T2 & T3 he is the good guy. Good guys are always funny.

As for the monkey...never expected it. It was a nice touch and the fact that he did it on roller skates was amazing!

As for Arnold...I'd vote for him as President (if it were only possible). Saw him interviewed by Bob Costas and Arnold is just a nice guy. At 55 he is still in good enough shape for 3 people. Unreal.

As for the "R" rating...maybe it is just my age (33) but I wouldn't want my kids to see it. It was plenty violent for the rating.

I hope your joking....

yeah, the monkey rocked. Who knew they could train a monkey to properly type and execute commands on a bash shell in the hacking scenes?

Puhlease! If it wasn't for the 30 seconds of nudity and wild monkey loving it would be PG, not even PG-13.

Why did everyone like it so much?? I dunno..something seemed missing. Maybe it was because I didn't like the ending. Overall I liked T2 much much more than T3.

BTW, was the monkey good or evil? I didn't figure it out. It was funny when Arnold tried to eat it.

I really really really like this movie. I was pleasantly surprised.
T2 felt more 'real', it had more of a human/humanity aspect to it. T3 had lots of action and a better written script. Why Mr. Cameron did not want to direct this I don't understand. With his directing this movie would have easily surpassed T2. The ending was kcufing fantastic - very solid, the very end of the movie had a good humanity aspect to it IMO but it was missing throughout the rest of the movie.

One of the few movies that I would see again... well, except for 1 horrible line (i'm sure everyone knows what the line is... no? guess)
