TEAM TADF, has slipped to 14th place! We now have a small fast protein, that will generate some really fast numbers! This is a very worthwhile project needing some TA assistance! LET'S GO TEAM TADF!

Yup! This is the fastest protein I've come across. Time to rack up some points!

These work units really fly with the "Use Extra Memory" option.

Come on in DFers! The water is as nice as it gets!

I put a second box on when I saw how fast the protien was. I suppose I could fire up a third for a while, but that was costing me $40/month in electricity...

I have my OC'd 2500+ crunching away on this protein. BTW, does anyone know what rating 11x192 is? My bios says it's 3200+ but I don't think it is, is it?

LET'S GO TEAM TADF! I'm sending up almost 3 million points from just 2 machines! WE NEED MORE CRUNCHERS! Again, this is a SMALL, FAST Protein, generating points really quickly! Now is the time to jump in on a fast project!

Does running 2 instance using Hyper threading help production at all?

Does the client finish all 250 generations before sending work in?

With HT I have found you can do it one of 2 ways. One without HT enabled, gives 1 client 100%, or with HT, gives 2 clients 50%. The 50% option works better, so one client is always crunching!

Running 2 clients now. Had it die on me twice so far so running 2 will hopefully keep something crunching.

How far away are we from #13?

How well does this run with DPAD? I'm currently trying to help the DPAD team, but if they run together pretty well, I'd be willing to help out.

Can I see the stats page?

I can't resolve the site to download the software from. Anyone have a copy to host?

Thanks for the new stats page - the arachnid stats page is closed for now

My current daily output is listed at 3.4 Million, which is nuts!

I've also noticed that the new protein uses only 65 MB of RAM in fast mode, so I've been able to enable fast mode on a few machines with only 128 MB of RAM.

Make sure to always inform the team when these fast proteins come out. Since I have practically every dc program that team participates in, I'm willing to jump in and help out when my crunching will mean the most.

I haven't been able to download the DF client, but some of my machines auto-updated, and I copied over the updated DF folders to all my crunchers.

I attempted to remove all of "my" stuff, and have uploaded what I think is a clean DF folder that you can use, complete with DFGui (v 3.1). Its at:

DF Client folder zipped

It will ask you for a handle when you start up, hopefully you have one. If not, then read the readme file in the DF folder and it will tell you how to obtain one.

Maybe we should make a TA Covert Ops folder ready for people to download. Then anyone can make a quick download and start helping the team when a fast protein like this comes out. Does anyone know the handle for the TACovertOps?

PM me if you do.

Well Guys,

It's spring break for me, and you know what that means! WORK. So, while I'm working, I'll keep my machines up and crunching as much as they can, maybe enable the hardcore mode on one or two. hehehe, top 20 here I come!

really? it's only 2600+? 11x166 was a 2500+ and 11x200 is 3200+, 192 seems like it would be a little higher than 2600+

*bump* for the team
