Taisol 760 modding

I had seen someone mod the taisol HSF to mount a 80mm fan instead of the 60 mm(without any adapters). Does anyone have a link/info about it?

I don't have a site but I'll tell you what I did. I'm using a Panflo L1A, blowing on the Taisol. I used (rubberbands at first) strips of bicycle intertube and small nylon washers and slipped my "stretchy straps" under the three prongs of the mounting bracket and latched them up to the other side of the Panflo.

Oh yeah, I dremeled open the mounting holes of the Panflo just enough to get the strap thru and tha washer is too big to fit thru the holes so you just pull them thru and pop them into the slits you dremeled and ta-da. Quick connection, quick removal.

I'm sure some others will chime in as well.

PS - I am still planning on doing Phunkentin's mod to see which way cools better AND is quieter.

my friend used zip ties to hold a 80 mm fan directly on top of the taisol. needless to say, the airflow isn't great but does run queiter than his non delta 60mm.
