No it doesn not look like the Duron retail HSF. The Duron Retail HSF is smaller and has a 50 mm fan. The Taisol is larger, and the 733092 and 734092 both have 60 mm fans.

I'm also in for any group buy if it goes down. I still can't believe everyone doesn't know about book rate shipping... it's so bloody cheap, and reasonably fast too from my experience. Also, for people interested in cooling intel processors, there is a thread in the cpu &amp; cooling forum about fitting the 733 cooler to a pentium 3... or at least that's what I can tell from the title.

Bookrate = an apparently underpublicized shipping method. Basically it's very cheap. Other than that, I don't know too much about it. I have shipped DVD's and laptop drives with it though, so I don't think it's technically limited to books. Like someone said earlier, $1.13 for under 1 pound packages, and it doesn't go up all that much from there - though I would assume there is a weight maximum since it is for books or something. Good deal compared to $3.20 priority mail shipping.

From what I remember, people are saying it outperforms the chrome orbs and is a degree or two worse than the globalwin, but much cheaper. Search the forum for &quot;taisol&quot; for more info.

Hey Ogn --- If it took you a week to get your order, it's probably the shipper's fault.
My order shipped out the same day that it was placed through UPS ground, w/ a Tracking number.
UPS sure has been messing up a lot lately for me(Or was it Staple's fault.) It work out for me anyway when UPS mess up. I just call to complain for my shipping money back(except for when it's from Staples.):Q

This looks like the HSF in my parents new Gateway PIII 933 Comp. Pretty neat little unit, the fan is very thin.

I would like to see comparison of the Taisol with some of the other top rated socket A HSF FOP32/38, PAL6035, Hedgehog...etc. If anybody can find a comparison link to it please. If the Taisol is comparable I may be interested in group bye also.

Vpham97, UPS just took my new HD on a 1000+ mile detour. It was scheduled for delivery Thursday but will not be delivered until this afternoon. If they do not screw up again that is. Who do you call to complain UPS or the vendor?

I think it's more for the Shipper, so if you can't get the refund back your self, ask your shipper to do it for you.
