For the record it's been 2 days, and if a person wants to service a group buy, you would think that the person checks his email daily.

this babies are awesome... my Duron runs around 38 degrees C. Too bad the chip isn't as great, I only been able to overclock it(Duron 600) to 856 (107 X 8).

Just a comment on the performance of this HSF.

I'm running a 1GHz Tbird at stock speed and voltage (1Ghz/1.75v). At 100% CPU utilization, my CPU temp is 50C/122F according to my Asus A7V. I'm using silver heatsink grease. It seems to work fine, but I was expecting a little more...

Oh where or where has my 15.00 bucks gone,
oh where oh where can it be?

Yep. You guessed it.
I found the package today.

The postoffice delivered it and never bothered to give me a yellow delivery notice. They just put it in an UNLOCKED postal box outside. I shudder to think what would have happenend if this were something really pricey.

Anyhoo, thanks for getting it to me on time, sorry bout the confusion.

FINAL UPDATE

For those that have emailed me in the last 5 days or so I have been gone on Thanksgiving vacation and I don't take a computer with me on vacation.

I have sold all of the last batch I ordered. I have a few people on a waiting list in case any of the promised payments from a couple of people don't arrive. I received a couple of payments just before I left on vacation and these will get mailed out tomorrow. I also have about 600 emails to go through so it may take a day before I get back to those that have emailed me.

If someone else would like to continue the group buy, please feel free to drop a message here. Thanks to the 99% of you that realized what a group buy entails and didn't expect me to drop everything at work to take a single package to the post office. Sorry to those that still want in on the group buy price, but with only one or maybe two requests a day it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get enough orders for another 25.

Ryan

OTHER NOTES:

Inosuke,

I've replied to EVERY email that I received from you. I mailed your HSF on the 20th and USPS shows it being delivered on the 22nd. Please check with your post office if you didn't receive it. Let me know what you find out.

DaYooper has work hard to served out almost 200 of these Taisol HSF. If you have a good trader rating and would like take over this group buy, you can also take over this thread and start a new one. Email me(in my profile) if you need the source code to this thread to start a new one.
Can you rise to the challange?

DaYooper, if you have any HSF leftover from non-payer just post your own thread later. It should go quick if you tell them that you have it in your hand. I will sell my one extra HSF after you sold out.

I got out the #2 pencil over Thanksgiving break to see what I could do with my 1Ghz Tbird. I got it up to 1.2Ghz @ 1.85v, but it gave errors in Prime95. Right now I'm running it at 1155Mhz @ 1.8v perfectly stable. CPU temp under full utilization is 53C/127F. Idling, it's around 49C/120F. The Taisol seems to do its job
