Yesterday I saw a fairly new Dodge neon with those "spinnar" wheels .


The sad part is that later in the day I saw an old beat up Toyota pickup from the 80s with Spinnars too..and they were better ones.....lol

A few months ago my kids and I got a good laugh out of a regular full sized bright yellow schoolbus that had the entire top chopped off in an effort to convert it into some type of truck. Looked rather odd...

The usual; dangerously bad drivers, nervous soccer moms with deathgrips on their SUVs' steering wheels too nervous & rigid to observe their surroundings and drive accordingly, little kids who grew up on 'da tuff suburban streetz, yo, whose cars just came out of a damn rice steamer and would get dusted by a badly maintained '70 Pinto, etc. *sigh*

Two weeks ago while stopped at a traffic light, I saw a truck driver back an 18-wheeler up while turning 90 degrees into a tiny little loading dock area (perpendicular to the road) with barely two feet of clearance on either side. He started backing up and turning and just put that trailer right on the money without having to readjust. It was a thing of beauty to see and I almost wanted to applaud.

The other day I passed an accident scene which involved a smallish sedan on one side of the road with front-end damage and a Jeep Liberty on the other side of the road impaled on a fence.

I have no idea what might have happened there.

the local postoffice does this. damn these ppl! it's right off this nasty bend so if you're flying around it, you'll see the damn truck back in!

Saturday we were driving on a backroad heading for the lake. A 60ish year old dude in from of us is driving a full size dodge pickup. He hangs his hand out the window, with a kitten in it, and drops it on the ground while going about 55mph and just keeps on trucking. I would have stopped but dont give that much of a crap and did not have a pen for his tag...

I live at the bottom of an extremely steep hill that goes around a turn. Until a few years ago, there was literally an accident on average once every few weeks; I got very used to hearing screeeech...BANG, especially in rain. People simply seemed unable to go any less than about 60 down this hill. The town eventually put up approximately three million caution signs and the accidents have all but stopped. Maybe I'll snap a pic later and edit it in.

Seriously though that's pretty horrible. I'd have possibly beaten him senseless, if I thought I could get away with it. If not, I'd absolutely have reported him.

sophmore year in high school, i was in the bus, and all of a sudden someone yells, "EVERYONE LOOOK! Mike Adams (A SENIOR AT THAT TIME) Is gettin road head!!!"

the whole bus had a good show for about 20 seconds.

A couple of weeks ago I saw an older woman "stranded" in her car in the middle of an intersection. It was at a four lane highway exit/entrance with a stoplight in each direction.

Apparently she was too afraid/stupid/confused to go the wrong way, so instead of missing her exit, she decided to try to turn around in the middle of an intersection!

People were flying by at 60mph in two directions and she thinks she's gonna do a u-turn in her Lincoln untouched. Mind you when people aren't flying by, others are going across the highway. In other words, she was in pretty much everyones way.

I sat at the stoplight simply aghast. I kept looking at the other drivers near me to make sure they were seeing the same thing I was. I'm still in disbelief.

I have to add this: when I first saw her I felt sorry for her, simply because I thought she was out of gas or had engine trouble. I even contemplated getting out of the car to help. Then I saw what was up and it just irritated me. People should know their own limitations when on the road.

The other day i did a U-turn at an intersection and realized after i had done it that there was a no U-turn sign posted. I'm a rebel.

I saw a lonely hubcap on the road and i was half tempted to pull over to pick it up and ebay it.. those ebay freaks buy anything!

on my way to pick up my friend from l.a. to go to vegas, i kid you not, i didnt have to stop once on the 405!! i braked a couple times near wilshire, but it was never a dead stop! keep in mind, this was during the day also! i was shocked!

Last week, I had 2 cops blow by me chasing a green Chevy dually truck. So, I followed them for about 15 miles until a highway patrolman set out the spike strips, blowing his tires of course. Then, I pulled over by the side of the road, only to watch them slam this guy to the ground and cuff him. It was like watching a scene right out of "Cops". It was great! Found out later that he was drunk and high on 'drugs' and was originally being pulled over for speeding.
