Nice off-topic dig at Apple, whom has nothing to do with developers deciding to sell two different versions of an app for phone and tablet. Some people don't purchase apps that have two separate versions and choose to support other developers that promote universal versions of their apps.

Modern day phone resolutions have made apps like this useless to me, though I guess there's other benefits like faster loading on slow connections.

What does this app do? The description is horribly written and does nothing to explain what the app does, even the screenshots make me unsure what this app is.

It's an app for browsing/posting to forums including Anandtech.

I'll stick with stock or Dolphin browser on a tablet. I won't pay $1 out of principle. App is pretty buggy on the phone or tablet with repeating thread headers.

Yeah, the Amazon App store sucks compared to Play.

However, it'll probably be the free app of the day soon after it does show up for you.
