Target.com item number is intentionally made different, so there is no price matching between Target store and Target.com. Target's price match policy is to not match Target.com prices.

Kinda funny, but I was at the store at 8AM. There were a couple of people there as well at the parking structure entrance I was at. When the door opened this guy sorta ran to the blu ray section. lol When I got there, there was already a couple people waiting for the Target guy to put them on display. So I get mine and pick up some other things, and it seemed like everyone was walking around with one in their hand, some people had more than one. Just about everyone in line had this blu ray. The store probably sold 50 copies in the 20 min I was in the store. The checkout lady even chastised the guy in front of me for not having a copy. :biggrin:

I would be curious to know how many people actually had a 3D TV and player, or just bought it because it was the same price as the 2 Disc version. The 2 Disc version for $20 is fairly common.

I picked up the OP deal at Target yesterday at lunch. There wasn't very many of them left, but there was a boatload of the 2-disc BR. I don't even have 3d but for $20 I thought it was a steal.

Amazon automatically lowered their price on the pre-order to 19.99. First they lowered it to 24.99 when it shipped, then they refunded another 5 bucks when they dropped it the next day.

Very impressed. I did not expect them to do this as per my understanding of their policy. Kudos Amazon.

Yeah, I think this was an online only deal. I went to Target myself a few days ago and the only thing they carry is the 2-pack for $19.99. No 4-packs even in the store. But ya, amazon has it. I actually purchased my two copies at bestbuy and PM'd to the target price. BB pm'd me two copies no problem.

Target I went to had both sets, the 2-disk and the 5-disk, both for $19.99. So of course I got the 5-disk.
