I just got back from the Northage - Seattle, WA Target store. They had absolutely no electronics worth mentioning on clearance. The only decent deal was an HP Photosmart 1115 printer for something like $140 (retail is $199). There was a great deal on some furniture. They had about two dozen coffee table sets (two end tables and a coffee table) for $12.XX each set. The original price on this was $99, and it was a matching set to the futon they had for $99 back in September. Oh, they had Ti-83+ (silver and black) calculators, but neither was on clearance.

i promise that i'm not talking to anyone in particular, everybody has dead days. if one is hitting the store SPECIFICALLY to get these deals, then yeah, they might be disappointed. but i always find some good deal... the question is do i need it/can use it? i can go in sometimes and run up on a sony minidisc player for $45 15 minutes before closing, but that is only SOMETIMES. at least 30 minutes is required to get the measure of a store i haven't been in at least a week, a new store for me is indefinite...

check out the pet food end cap while you're there.
I found a box containing 3.5lbs of Purina Special Care & 7lbs of tidy cats clumping litter for $2.12.

The cat food usually sells for $4 by itself.

I'm still waiting for that Koss DVD player (yeah, THAT one) to drop. Still $69.90 for them here, and there's at least a dozen of them (including several still in the original spot without the red "buy me" stickers).

Big dissapointment in Charleston, SC. No Olympus or Fuji Cameras, only the 2650 (new Fuji model) in fact, no clearance cameras at all. No mice or keyboards either. Did get a 2 pack 90 min DVCs for $3.74. Also, against my better judgement, picked up the Memorex Karoke Machine for the kids Christmas for $28.

I got 6 for free by using cat litter/cat food coupons When they drop again, I'll grab some more

Yesterday I picked up a Conair 2.4Ghz cordless phone for 7.48 and Commandos 2 game for 5.04. Don't know if either are any good but I can always return the phone. Can't return the software once it's open but for $5 it ain't gonna break the bank.

Any of you folks in TX that are looking for the Oly 3020 need to check your Targets. Now I understand TX is a big state but someone on MC says her store still has them and she's asking if the cam/price of the cam is any good :Q She didn't say that she saw it at Target but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out especially when she says the price is $225

When you are out hunting for these target deals, don't forget to use the coupon for a free, 20 oz coke too. I keep a stack of the printed coupons with me to enjoy one at each target store I visit. Enjoy.

And don't forget the employees appreciate them too.

The Sunbeam rope lights went 75% off (1.74) as well as a bunch of different night light type things.

The person on MC that saw the cam at her store in TX said she went and got it. She said it was at the store in El Paso (Sunland). She didn't say if they had anymore or not.

I would suppose these deals are YMMV? My Target's deals are usually pretty poor, but I may head out there today to check things out. Northgate - Seattle, WA.

I'd tell you where to get them, but then Josh'd probably pay them a visit, and it'd be overrun by mycoupons punks.

(I'd sooner entrust a secret to the national enquirer. )

Here's a hint folks, don't tell the employees what the prices are and when they're supposed to drop next, or you'll find out that nothing's left.

I just checked my local Target.

Saw the cheap corded phones, some Fuji 100 packs (taiyo yuden's) for like 32.50..not really hot at all...
And a Logitech Cordless Freedom keyboard/mouse set for like 42 bucks...

Other than that...nothing..it sucked.

the employees don't appreciate the coupon. I got denied using the free coke coupon, they told me that it was a fake and someone made it up.

I got a bunch of reasons of refuse to accept it, like it is Black & white, it is fake, it is not legit, it is download from internet, manager said not to accept it, headquarter said not to accept it, but no matter what reason, it seems like if I try another cashier then the coupon will be OK again. But I discovered most of the cashiers don't know how to keyin the coupon at the first time.

I haven't had any problems using the Coke coupon and the employees at the stores I go to definitely appreciate them. Once they found out I was the one hooking certain employees up with them, they all started asking for coupons, even Supervisors!

No problem Russ, I know you always make me laugh.

Akira, if you're in the market for a cheap printer, selected Targets in your area still have the Apollo P-2200 series for $19.xx.

Not the best printer in the world, but it's an HP.

Thanks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Ti89 on clearance. I could really use one of those.

Snagged the last Panasonic 900mhz Digital phone w/ caller ID and built-in speakerphone yesterday. Scanned as 0.00, so the guy just said "What would you think is fair for it?" with a smile, and I said "$20". It isn't as cheap as the 900mhz/2.4ghz ones others have been finding, but I'd trust the Panasonic any day over the other pieces of junk (Conair, Southwestern bell, etc). We had a sh*tty 2.4ghz phone in our bedroom that this is replacing, and it can't go more than 15 feet. Then again, it was only $10. We use our two Uniden 900mhz phones to let people make calls after getting in wrecks at an interesction near our apartment (wreck at least twice a month). Great range.

You get what you pay for! ... well, unless it's 75% off at Target

The Blacksburg VA store had the Fuji 2650 for $199. Is that a good price?

Going to Roanoke tomorrow to see if they have the 2600.
