Next Monday will be 75% off and the following Monday will be 90% off... The original poster must have gotten confused as to what they saw or read elsewhere.
Are they 75% off yet? When I was at Target on Sunday the holiday crap was still only 50% off. They had a LOT of leftover inventory and many, many light sets.
i haven't seen storage bins on sale yet...i am waiting to get more of the upwright paper storage containers - those are really nice (especially to put the clearance paper in)!!
maybe i will check again today...
I needed to run to Lowe's the day after xmas and everything was 75% off, so of course I couldn't resist and stocked up on some cheapies. I had to go back the next day for some more tools, and those shelves were completely BARE. Just this week I've been to several stores that stilll have their "clearance" priced xmas stuff at 50% (or less). It's like they want to go through the hassle of inventorying and warehousing truckloads of overpriced crap that won't sell again next year.
Was at Target yesterday. STILL 50% off. :disgust: The amount of holiday inventory left over was impressive (or alarming, depending on your perspective) and the section only had a few shoppers rummaging about. I don't know what the hell the store is waiting for but they need to reduce to 75% NOW because otherwise the crap is just going to sit and collect dust.
Wal-Mart's Christmas clearance section was almost completely empty and they were putting out Valentine's Day stuff yesterday.
went to Target the other day and picked up 4 boxes of Christmas lights. 100 lights, 27 feet, extra bulbs and fuses, ONLY 81 CENTS! Picked up some more yesterday too. Gonna try and decorate my room a bit with a couple of sets. Hell, for 81 cents a box i can afford to experiment
Locally it went to 75% today too. Man, we got ripped when we bought that mini fiberoptic tree @ 50% off!
Went and bought a couple more fiberoptic trees for $5.00 each (they're pretty cool) and also a fiber optic wreath at $6.24 as well as ribbon and wrapping paper for almost nothing.
It was real busy for a Thursday!
