Thanks for the stats, Fardringle.
I assume that those numbers represent the total BOINC-production for TAS ... or is it for the projects only?

It's the BOINC total for each person. I did individual projects last month and it took way too long with just the three projects. I definitely don't want to do it for seven different projects so I'm just doing the totals this month.

I may have to take my main machine down in a couple of days for maintenance. SMART has been tripped for one of the drives. It says: "x Spin Retry Count ... Pre-failure: Imminent loss of data is being predicted." I'm working to get the data organized and backed up. Maybe I should copy all the important stuff to one of the other drives and then organize it. I'm the kind of person who could spend weeks on the organization phase.

edit: very nice stats. Thanks, Fardringle!!

I have just gotten my internet back after 2 days. When it went down, I lost an AQUA WU that had crunched for 107hr and had 13hr to go. 5500 points lost!

I lost a bunch of Yoyo WUs, too! I was able to crunch some more AQUA WUs that I had suspended earlier.

I have reached my personal goal of 250K on Yoyo, so I moved two quads to PrimeGrid. I have 9K to go on Yoyo to get the ecm 100K badge.

On PrimeGrid, I am running the special sieve that uses a 64bit app. I figure that in about a week, PrimeGrid will be at its target.

After PrimeGrid, I will move everything back to Yoyo or to whatever project needs me the most. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the stats, Fardringle!

OP progress updated 5/16. Another milestone reached! Nice going everyone!

I lost one quad again. So I will be rebuilding tonight and should be back at full strength on YoYo by morning.

Can I call for some support on enigma please?

According to their server status page http://www.enigmaathome.net/server_status the first subproject (first half of the message we're trying to decode) will end on June 9th! Maybe we could accelerate this a bit! These last two days it showed June 16th, there seems to be a speedup right now!

And we'll reach our milestone!

All of my computers have been running Enigma since about the 4th of the month. I'm sure I could get more points if I go around and install the optimized client, but I really don't have time to do that, so I'll have to be satisfied with the results of the official client.

Hi all TAS-crunchers,
We have reached two of the goals already:

In PrimeGrid we have reached 5M  and we have crunched 217 078 credits.
In WCG we have reached 10 M. and we have crunched 660 972 credits.

The major challenges are still ahead of us:

in ABC@Home we need 1 094 809 credits. We have crunched 136 178 credits. This is, BTW, a high-yield project ...
In Intelligence Realm we have 1 316 714 credits to accumulate. We have crunched only 51 824 credits
In Enigma@home we have 664 011 credits to go. We have crunched 336 992 credits.
In YoYo@home we have only 278 690 to crunch. We have crunched 457 608 credits
In Zstaki we lack 158 775 credits. We have crunched 53 332 credits.

We have crunched this month 1 913 984 credits which is reaaly good. If we crunch on in the same pace (95 600 credits/day) we could bring the total to 2 870 976 points.

However...
We need to crunch a total of 3 512 999 credits ... that is a wee bit too much, I think, but it would be a shame not to try ... We should reach the goal in YoYo@home and in Enigma@home. I do not think we will reach the goal in in Intelligence Realm (=Artificial Intelligence in BOINCstats).

So where should we push most?

First of all, congratulations on your 400K milestone on YoYo@Home, Peter!

I have all 3 quads working again and crunching up a storm on YoYo. I will stay there until the milestone is reached.

I think that Sztaki is possibly on its way down the archiving road. Tom Philippart and I and a cast of thousands have made multiple requests to Sztaki to update the OS identifiers so we can crunch there. Their lack of response is a sign of indifference, which is an early sign of failure. It will probably go the way of 3x+1 and SHA Collision. If we get the 1M milestone this month, we would lock it into our stats and would never need to crunch it again.

Which is a pity because Sztaki was the first project I crunched after SETI. I'll miss it.

ABC@Home is one I think we can reach if we really try!

Enigma doesn't play well with my comps, so I won't be able to help there.

I agree that Intelligence Realm can wait for some other challenge.

EDIT: A second thought on Sztaki-- because the admins are indifferent to the crunchers, they are probably indifferent to the science. Any thing we do will only be for the credits and may be worthless for the science. And worthless for our main reason for doing this stuff!

I'm going to stay with enigma until the milestone is met. By looking at the stats in about a week the milestone will be reached in YoYo. At the rate we are crunching enigma it is going to take 27 days to reach 5 million. ABC and Intelligence Realm need more crunching power to reach the milestone (daily averages under 10k). I won't be crunching Sztaki because of the lack of interest from the admins. I think we should crunch enigma and YoYo until the milestones are met and then spend the rest of the month of June on ABC and Intelligence Realm. Those who can't crunch enigma can get a head start on ABC or Intelligence Realm.

I like that idea!

I will take on both Intelligence Realm and ABC after I finish YoYo and do a few days on the monthly SIMAP work.

This is predicated on the TAS poll for the month of June. I suggest that this be one of the options.

Same goes for me for now. After the milestone, maybe I'll stick to Enigma, maybe I'll switch when TAS is going somewhere else, don't know yet.

I like the idea of finishing this project asap, since it has a definite end date. Then, when it is finished a lot of power (overall) is being released for the other projects.

Thx, Fardringle. Looking good for TAS.

BTW
In Enigma@home we have 664 011 credits to go. We have crunched 336 992 credits.

Right now we only need 501 069 credits. In the last week we've done 160k+.
