I went to my local Office Depot... their clearance section was pitiful. Like 2 tables worth of crap. Only thing decent was a Vtech cordless phone with caller ID built in to both the phone and base station for $25. I picked it up for a girlfriend. I most certainly didn't get the yamaha burner or any old stock video cards.

If anyone got one and wants to sell me one even 2, PM me.

I just paid 119 euros on Saturday for one of these! Here is Amsterdam. Wish I could have found a deal like this here. Don't forget to upgrade the firmware to the newest version and upgrade nero to the newest version too.

* Start menu > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Scroll down to IMAPI CD-Burning COM service and double click on it then (in the
middle of the window) where it says "Startup type:" SELECT: Disabled > OK

I'm not aware of having to disable anything in Win Me to avoid conflicts with Nero.

BTW the same probs apply for installs with or without ASPI drivers.
