Nah...a Enermax 350W should be more than enough for what you have...it's the 1.5ghz+ speeds that a better PSU is needed. Plus, if any 300W could do it, it would be the Enermax. They are just on another level than any other PSU's out there...
This explains a lot to me! I had my 1gig AVIA week 9 T-Bird up to 1466 with a 300 watt power supply. But it started frying the power supplies! I have 6 drives 3 fans + the HSF fan and it was just to much for the 300 watt power supplies when I cranked the chip up to 1466! I went and got a 400 watt PSU and had no further problems!

PS: Alas this story does not have a happy ending! I wasn't happy with the cooling from my CORE hsf setup so I bought a Swiftech 462a. When I installed the Swiftech I put in the extra spacers without reading the instructions all the way! Needless to say when I smelled the burning, I had fried my wonderful chip! It actually looks like the silicon turned to glass! I wonder if I will ever find such a kind 1gig chip again!
