i am currently running a tbird 1gig at 1.24. that is all fsb overclocking. i was hoping it would go to 133fsb, but no go . any way my question is if i unlock this (never did it when i got the chip) am i going to get a better overclock. i know most of you are going to say it depends on the chip. i understand all that, so i guess i am asking what are your guys clock speeds like. fsb??? mhz??? multiplier???

is it a b core or a c core?

anyway, i'd try multiplier either way. kinda weird that you have pc133 ram and it won't go past 124. anyway... try unlocking.

I think that if you were to use the multiplier settings by unlocking your CPU, then tweaking your FSB to fine tune the clock, you would get better stability.

I use the Abit KT7-RAID and also have a T-Bird 1GHz, but using the FSB, I was only able to take it stably to 1070 MHz. I KNOW that the chip is capable of at least 1150MHz, but unless I unlock, I won't get there.

Also, you will be putting more strain on other components in your system by ocling the FSB, like AGP and PCI cards, RAM (unless you have pc133 or better). Go with a multiplyer change if possible.
