Well I read all the fantastic results everyone gets but mine just seem to performe poorly. This in particular is bothering me, from a review:

2-2-2-11 @ 240, wtf!

I can't even get mine stable running 220 @ 2-2-2-11. does this strike anyone as odd? In order to run 220 my timings have to be 2-3-3-11. What kind of results is everyone getting with their TCCD? Whats the average TCCD timing at 240(my goal)?

This is run on an Nforce2 chipset. I've tried various voltages, I initially though the ram was stable but I was wrong. I tried to play some CS:S and it kept crashing. I had already run prime but memtest turned up 78 errors when I ran it overnight. I've also used windows for the last month with these timings without any noticable problems.

I got frustrated and ran 220 @ 3-3-3-11 and it STILL crashed CS:S until i put it to 200 and stock timings/voltage. I don't get it!

My old system had GEIL... I was one of the first folks to get their PC3500 back in the day and man did that crap suck!!! Memtest failed anything above DDR266 speeds. But I'm not saying GEIL is bad across the board. Have you thought about RMA'ing or trying another RAM type.

Shouldn't it be more like:

8-4-4 with CL3 or something like that for the timings? The 2-2-2 seems a little tight for that FSB.

I am using Corsair PC4000 and have to have the timings at 7-3-3 CL3 at 300Mhz FSB.

TCCD can do AMAZING things. the key is voltage...you didn't say how many volts you could give it. sounds like your ram could be defective also.

I'm running TCCD althought it is Corsair.
2-2-2-5 200~215 2.7 volts
2-2-2-5 215 ~224 2.8.volts
2-3-2-5 225~ 237 2.8 volts
2.5-3-3-6 237-252 2.8 volts
I have nothing that will pass Memtest after that and My Asus bios will not allow for 2.85 volts I would like to try a musky mem volt booster but right now I am happy I have not been able to pass prime above 2.640 anyway.

tccd shouldn't be able to run 240 HTT with 2-2-2-5 timings...

they can do 2-2-2-5 up to around 220ish but after that... youll have to loosen the timings

2.5-3-3-x isn't uncommon for 270... 280 htt but you shouldn't need more than 2.7 to 2.8 volts

except for the new tccd which do like voltages... argh... frustrating...

I gave it a number of different voltages, from 2.6 to 3, none of them helped.

I just got some geil ultra X and is suffering from the same problem
I cant even reach 230 fsb @ 2.5-3-3-10 2.8v
I tried single channel and 2T command rate, and still the same.
I even lowered dram drive strength to weak.

my geil ultra-x reached 300 @ 2.5-4-4-7-1t superpi 32m stable. i didnt run any other tests since my cpu sucks and i dont need 300. so geil is not too bad

The OP never mentioned what motherboard he's using. A lot of NF2 boards won't do over 220 fsb. I had an NF7 that wouldn't do 210 mhz fsb without a modded bios.

Trust me TCCD is good stuff. Mine's running 1:1 at 300 HTT @ 3-4-4-10 ......BUT only at 2T. Realistically 250-260 @ 1T is probably just as good if not better but oh well it looks pretty.

i have a nf2 mobo (nf7-s) and tccd memory ( ocz plat rev2), running with modded tictac bios @ 240x10 2-2-2-11
you might have a weak link somewhere, maybe the mobo, memory, or psu isnt up to the task, and or you could just have gotten a dud mobile, ive read somewhere that sometimes adjusting the northbridge voltage can get you better overclock<-- but dont quote me

I can attest to last part...setting my ram to 2.7v versus 2.85v (whichmay mean 2.9v on the neo2 board based on reports) has allowed me more stable ram even at same high speed and timings...

it has nothing to do with my motherboard or PSU becuase before i had this TCCD,i had normal Geil Ultra series, and it pulled 500mhz no problem with this same bios and setup. i'm going to try a bios update when i get a chance.

some more findings on my end.
my ram seems to hate cas 3. I cant boot it at cas 3 on any voltage even if im on 200fsb.
2.85 v on my k8n neo 2 does not help. I still cant get past 230 fsb. let alone that anything beyond 220 fsb is not stable at all.

TCCD is not meant for the Athlon XP. Samsung designed it speciifacally for the Athlon 64 platform, with the properties of the IMC. I haven't heard of anyone doing very well with TCCD and a AXP.

Also, TCCD doesn't like voltage, or at least 90% of the chips manufactured don't. Over at PCPER, in the memory forums, alot of TCCD users got their best results with 2.55 vdimm.
