TDK 24x10x40 CDRW for $85.00 After MIR Costco

Just picked up a TDK 24x10x40 CDRW from Costco for $134.95. There is a $50 MIR from Costco valid until the end of April 2002. They also have new packaging which has a bonus 10 pack of 80 MIN CDRS in addition to the 2 CDR's and 1 CDRW inside the package. The package also comes with screws, bunch of manuals, a install video, a CDR pen/marker. My god. Best deal ever.

Was at Costco just recently, all I saw was a 24x10x40 Cendyne that was a Lite-On, and a 16x drive (I think it was Digital Research).

I just bought this exact same package a couple weeks ago but the rebate that came on my receipt was only $20 :|

I'll have them rering it and see if I can get $50 back instead of $20..................$30 is a lot of saving. The only problem seems to be that I have already sent in the rebate................will they just void that $20 rebate if I return it and buy it again?

Yes the rebate prints out at the end of your receipt. NO UPC required.

It sounds like Circuit City has 2 rebates:

1. $20 Circuit City rebate that prints on receipt
2. 1 manufacturer $50 rebate that you probably use their form for.

I just bought this 22 DAYS AGO at the $135-$20 deal and THAT was the best price at the time. When I saw "$59 after MIR" at TB.com, I freaked!

Is this the same box with the 10 CD-Rs on it? If so, I can buy one with the $50 rebate and then take it right back with my old receipt. BAM!!!

Yes it is in the Sunday ad for next week. The price is $129.99 - $50 Manufacturer MIR - $20 CC MIR = $59.99

I burned consequtive full 80 MIN cd's in 4:17 and that includes lead in and lead out, buffering etc. From start to finish. 4:17 consequtively.

It's inevitable that prices drop and the 40GB Maxtor that I paid a sale-priced $250 for, a year-and-a-half ago, is no available for $100 and you get a $25 Beast Buy gift card on top of that!
