TDK CDRW 12x10x32

I bought a TDK CDRW about a month ago. I have no problem writing Audio CDs, but when I try to copy gaming CDs, Nero does nothing(The buffer never fills up and the progress indicator says 0%) and CloneCD Keeps saying Error reading sector ***. I am currently using firmware 1.07

That's strange. I haven't had any problems burning the few games I have done. I used the Adaptec CD Copier delux and stick with the default settings as far as buffer is concerned. I have no idea if that makes a difference or not.

I have an 8/4/32 veloCD burner. I've been using Adaptec burning software and have had "few" problems with it. A couple of disc copies left me with doubled or missing tracks but since I downloaded the Adaptec updates (3.5 ez cd creator and 2.5 direct cd) things have been pretty cool. Interestingly though, I have firmware version 1.05 and figured "what the hey, I'll upgrade to the posted 1.07". Well, my system locks up every time I try to install it. I finally gave up. Anyone else have this problem. Oh well, at least the current version operates well enough.

I use CloneCD for games, Nero for the rest. I also have the VeloCD, awesome drive...
