Search for the other thread. There are multiple comments about the case.

In brief, it is hard to take apart (snap together case), and it runs hot (no fan). No one so far has mentioned what chipset it is using for the USB and Firewire bridges, but the owners seem satisifed with it's performance (given the two caveats mentioned above).
