That's the other thing too I hate how they refer to this like if it was a sexual abuse case. IMO even the under 18 ones are older enough to decide whether or not they want to partake, it's not like they are being forced. This is not the same as if they were like 5 year olds being forced into it but yet the law system treats it the same way.

This is one of those "you know it's wrong but it really doesn't do as much harm as people make it out to cause" type things. Teenage boys getting to bang a teacher has been a fantasy since time began. For anyone that says "boys can be traumatized and taken advantage of too!", I'll counter with "What would be more traumatizing: growing up with the confidence that you're desireable to all women, or your most likely first sexual experience resulting in someone being incarcerated for many years and chastised for the rest of their life?"

What does physically weaker have anything to do with consensual sex? And guys can get women pregnant and be straddled with a life long responsibility as well so I fail to see your point on that one either.
When sex with older men vs teen girls is involved, force is always considered (and a possibility). Older men also have a manipulative mindset, and if that girl gets pregnant, it can ruin the rest of their lives as the mother generally stays with the child in these cases.
With older women vs teen boys, a woman's mindset isn't the same as a guy's, and if pregnancy becomes an issue, it will be less of a problem for the boy. Physical force isn't really considered here either.
