I thought the movie was hilarious. I may not have agreed with some of the underlying ideals, but I can take a good joke even if it's directed at liberals like me.
You can't go into this movie exactly expecting a subtle and deep satire. Hell, the title should make that clear. But for what it sets out to do--make everyone, especially Alec Baldwin, look like an ass--it does very well.

I'm a huge fan of Parker and Stone, and think South Park is just the best, however I was really dissapointed by TA.

It was funny the first 30 minutes or so, then the newness wore off, and man did it suck the rest of the way. And it wasn't that offensive either.

Tweak, you probby didn't like it because you're a whiny liberal. There were a few whiny liberals in the theatre too. Some left.. Some scoffed at every part they didn't like. And guess what? That made me feel good. We had to listen to Fatboy Moore's BS, Kerry's attack ads (seen about 2x as many for Kerry than Bush), liberal media.. And God forbid, there's now a movie based on the political right..

The movie was hilarious. I give it two thumbs up. If I had four hands, I'd give it seven thumbs up.

Seriously, if all you'd do with four hands is give a movie four thumbs down, you might as well wanna practice life.

Liberals hating the movie? Uh...considering who it was created by...I don't think so. Conservative people I think tend to be more offended by toliet humor.

haha this movie was GREAT! i did not get the whole "Matt Damon" thing. this movie just had so many great lines in it.

the only part i HATED and thought it was so stupid, was that scene where he went down on the guy. it was just too over the top ...

What's so great about South Park and Team America is that you have to be older than 12 to truly get the cartoon and movie. South Park is very smart humor.

You just don't think it's funny because you're too stupid to understand most of the jokes.
