Edit: I didn't know this until looking it up just now, but when a user installs SetiGate, it crunches 1 WU for the SetiGate account before it starts doing more under any other account. It's part of the usage agreement, so that's fair.

So, whoever uploaded a result to my Queue through SetiGate, that's why you didn't get credit!!!


On a side note, this sounds like a good idea for the FlexInstaller to me. It might settle the issue of letting non-team members use it.
Just a thought. I'll speak to Shux and bot about this.

With the best time to connect to Berkeley being between 11pm and 5am (Central Time)........might I suggest that if people can schedule their connect time to a Team SetiQueue.......to do it before or after this prime Berkeley connect window.

The Q's can then do their bidding and make life happier for all..............if you can't control your connect times.........don't worry, be happy

What OK said........ I have had many people connect only to time out with the passthrough during the day but when berkeley is normal people have been able to establish a good connection and queue.

Is DNS2Go having problems lately?? Some of the queues don't come up when I search for them. Mine is having a problem connecting- only intermittently. Bet it is DNS- www.dns2go.com wont connect either. Strange.

JustStarting - your machine may be configured to look at a bad DNS. Usually, your ISP provides that DNS info (either via DHCP or they tell you the IP of the DNS server you should point to). You might want to try using a different DNS for yourself.

I am connecting intermittently. I'm having problems seeing other peoples "Q's" also. Some DNS2Go user links are working, and some aren't. Seems to be Eastern US is acting funny- maybe a server issue in the east.

I did it that way because I *really* wanted to call it based on Mountain Time, 'cause that's what it almost looks like it would be in. Are you in Pacific time or Mountain or do you guys just ignore the hell out of the U.S. and it's wacky time zones???

Poof, here's a map of Canadian time zones...they generally coincide with Yank ones.

A quick look at DarkMajiq's Q time indicates Mountain Time. However, up here we don't really distinguish regions based on time zone, so what you call Mountain we just lump together with West/Pacific.

PS: It's about damn time winter hit, eh?
