Team Anandtech Website Update

I think it is pretty awesome that we have a website being hosted - http://www.teamanandtech.com/

I also think it would good to get it updated if possible - even if we can just put more current information in there, make sure all the links listed work, etc.

It seems like it would have some good opportunities for listing out something like our 2011 race schedule and how we placed in those races, etc.

Evidently this was a big deal around the turn of the century - let's give it a little push again I feel the possibility of getting some decent exposure for the team is imminent

Bottom line - who is the awesome party responsible for keeping the site up now and how might we get some volunteers to add content/test/etc.?

Good question. TAC doesn't appear to have control of it, unless I missed something.

Thanks for that info. Does anybody have an email address for him? I might be missing it on the site, but it doesn't look like PM'ing him would do much good as he hasn't logged in since May.

That site is so old that I have forgotten it's existence ...

and no, TAC does not have any control of that site.

I was thinking that it should either be de-listed from our Folding @ Home team page ( ) or cleaned up, pointed here, made a little more up to date, etc. ( )

Wow that is some old info on there. I'm sure that if some one wanted to redo it all and host it, bp would happily redirect the addy there. I believe it used to be hosted at xmission. bp worked there, but has moved on. To where I don't know. I used to take care of some of the seti stuff but that was last century. I'll check some of the old haunts if the are still there.

I'm very much open to having someone(s) update the site contents. Hosting and registrar wise, nothing has changed, and no worry there (TA for life). The only thing not old on there is the DNet stats, which got a face lift during the last discussion about the site. Even as a TA old-timer ('98), I'm still very much a stats junkie. I'd be totally stoked if other active DNet OGR/RC5 used the TA proxy though. BGod and I need some fellow people to race with.

It's sorta like a museum now I am glad those newsletters are still there, I read a couple of them and I am sorry it took me so long to make it down from CPU/VGA to here Fascinating stuff. Even the ol' community sourced article is still up at the home site, anandtech.com.

Anyway, it would be cool if the TAC folks at least had edit access. I'd like to contribute or help out, but as a relative short timer, well, I guess I may need to put some years in first
