seriously, the only hope you ppl got in keeping ahead of the almighty (gnehehe) DPC is by finding the key within a month.. that's propably about how long it takes before WE catch up (13 days = with more than avg dpc output)

Sure, it's probably frustrating getting passed in RC5, but since that's practically the only project(save OGR) that the DPC have a commanding presence in, it's hardly the end of the world.

Team Anandtech has a commanding presence in quite a number of projects, PLUS our team is much more varied in it's member composition - I'm proud to be and remain a TA member!

I've edited my prior post to indicate that the DPC also do OGR.

As for the comments posted here.. personally, I have no problems with Narzy's posts here.. if he wants to see it as a war, that's fine with me.. so long as he's keeping here at the TA forums and not talking trash at the DPC forums. Likewise, it'd take some real maturity and restraint for the DPC members to not talk trash here.. here's to hoping they can do it.

Only because of the DNet screw up, the DPC ended up first.
It is a mistake and they know it. They will have to do some serious OGR-calculating, before they can even sniff our tail. Just let is slide and ignore them.

Poohke is poking around in other TA-threads also. In a thread on the DPC forum he got a comment on it from Dutchman2000. The latter didn't like what he was doing. Thanx, D2000.

The reason that the DPC are #1 for the 2nd of January in OGR is because the dnet pproxy is clogged. There were over 210Tnodes dumped through the Team Anandtech team pproxy for that day. They're stuck in a dnet pproxy somewhere.......when the gate opens.....

Just some info:

Last year DPC in RC5 went from overall rank 41 to number 2 in 1 year's time. Now I'm not sure how long OGR-25 will take, but I think by the end of this month a lot of DPC will at least partially switch over to OGR.
AT: better to watch your back, and start assimilating real soon.
I do like good competition, and in RC5 there just isn't any anymore for DPC....

I setup the dNet client on one machine, as I understand it has to run 24 hours then you get a password email. I got no email, but I've been cranking away for a week now. I also can't find my stats anywhere. I signed up under sinner@optonline.net

I have the following machines ready to start cracking:
