Like a lot of people say at TA's side and at DPC's side, TA is doing a lot of projects, and that is very cool of them, and i respect you guys for that. It's only that when you have a lot of firepower and divide that over the projects you may come short on some of those projects (like RC5)
But we at DPC are facing that same problem because like crisp says, a lot of people are already doing OGR and a more lot will turn from RC5 into OGR when we're the number 1 in RC5 (what seems to be unstoppable). And when that moment comes we also have to see what becomes of our team.
And whatever becomes of our team, i hope we can keep the good competition alive at al projects of d.net (because we don't like aliens ), and with that good comeptitions goes no more of these troll's like Poohke did.

You can join any team when you have submitted at least 1 block or OGR-Thingie to d.net.
Within 24 hours you wil be in the stats of rc5 or ogr, then you search in that stats for your email-address. When you've found that you can get yourself to send a password, with this passsword you can edit your information and join a team, for AnandTech you go to this page and push the button "i want to join this team"
When you've done that you must fill in your e-mail address as username and the password. From that moment on you cracking for TA. You can see the first blocks of yourself in the team the next statsupdate, and....sorry for the utility bill, that problem is worldwide .

wildhagen Thank you I spent some time in the DPC IRC last night, which reminded me that the DPC arnt as bad I I had been thinking (although trying to read dutch when you dont know it is a bit of a pain but thanks to all who helped me translate )

TA can't have one bit of disscusion amongst ourselves without the DPC jumping in.

just one last note..

Maybe I used the wrong words here, but these are the words I'ld use for anybody.. Weither you are DPC, TA, or anyone else, doesn't matter to me. We are all the same to me.. Some people having some laughs. It wasn't intended as a troll, nore did I anticipate it becoming one.
If you feel these words were misplaced: I apoligize for them. Espacialy for my blunt second reply.
Hope you wont hold a grudge against me for this. If you do, please ban me, so I won't be able to upset you folks again.

Thanks Sinner for responding to Narzy's emergency call.

I've resurrected a dual 533 Celeron setup for RC5 crunching. It's not on a case, so when no one at home, it will be shutdown. Also, I've returned most of the machine that doing SETI &amp; RC5 crunching to full RC5.

Now if only DNET can fix that dumping problem we are having lately...

Assimilation update:
The first 17 computers have been retasked to RC5. I suppose I'll get an idea of the potential they have at the midnight stats update.

Tonight an additional 3 machines will be added, with another 5 or so added as I have time to assemble them.

My average per machine throughput is around 2 Mk/sec so I should be at 34 Mk/sec now. And up to 40Mk/sec tonight.

The last 5 or so are Pentium class rigs so I don't know their capabilities.
