Well it lasted three and a half hours...I would say that is a good sign!....they must like you given that you have been introduced to various people and you can't have bored them if they stayed chatting with you for a long time each!

Anyone know what working as a car sales executive for a ford dealership is like, will be in the UK but would appreciate anyones comments on it.

Update -

The job still hasn't been filled. I heard from the VP of Engineering yesterday. Part of his statement was:

"Your aptitude for mechanical design and the creative process was evident during our interview, and would certainly be an asset to any engineering organization."

"The job position is currently being re-written, and when we officially post the position I will certainly notify you."

I'm not sure if I was just being blown-off in a 'nice' way, or if that's good.

It is truly rough out there.

I had been looking for a job in the Los Angeles area for 2 months and finally started a new job today part time. Suppose to work into full time in a month. Found the job through one of my new nieghbors... networking through people is the best way. Every job I have found but one was through somebody I knew.

Yep, the economy got me as well. I've just been laid off.

I'm looking for PC Desktop Support/Network Admin type position in Charlotte, NC. Or hey, I'm open to new things as well

finally started a new job today part time

I started a new job on Tuesday at a local private hospital, part of a group of (now) 3 hospitals in and around London owned by Aspen Healthcare. Been down in Wimbledon (yeah the Tennis place) the past 3 days setting up their new Oncology centre Back to the local hospital tomorrow

Things are going well so far, people i'm working with are great, very kind and supportive


Sorry to hear about all those who have been laid off recently

Everyone keep their fingers crossed (and whatever else...). I have an interview this morning, and the job should be 99% sure thing....

Been looking for over 6 months, and almost went on the road as a truck driver just to pay the bills.

I'll let you all know what happens.....

I too have been looking since Nov. of last year, and I have an interview on Monday for a tech support position. Not quite the project management position I was looking for, but hey, I love working with computers, it will pay the mortgage, so it's all good. Assuming that I get the job, of course.

I finally have a new job, woohoo!...a company called Broadcast Bionics in West Sussex, UK that supplied computerised telephone systems and call handling software for radio stations throughout the UK combined with VIA IP telephony hubs etc....
