Teams that don't play in the city/state they're named after..

With all this talk about the SF 49ers moving to Santa Clara but keeping their name, what other teams exhibit this?

E.g. the Detroit Pistons who play some 30 miles away in Auburn Hills, and the NY Giants/Jets who play in New Jersey..

Dallas Cowboys... I think most/many teams probably don't play within the city limits of the city they're named after.

Edit: Well, most might be an exaggeration

Edit2: I think NFL rules allow you to use the name of any city (or state) within 50 miles of the stadium.

The Jets were talking about moving to NYC. I think the total cost would have been in the vicinity of $2 billion and $700 million of that was for the land. Bloomberg was fighting for it, but it got shot down.

I'm surprised by that. All of Atlanta's major sports teams play inside of the downtown area. (It seems like Atlanta itself is zoned almost entirely commercial / non-residential.)

Kansas City Chiefs/Royals....sure, they play in KC, but the city is named after another state!

LA Lakers....LA, not a lot of lakes....Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes....
