1) Java for links? No no no, you can do the exact same thing with html and css.
2) The background image is too much. It's distracting and the repeating looks really bad. I like the idea, but you need something that's not as loud and seams together well when it repeats.
3) As a personal preference, I always like to have a home link and the site's logo to also link home.
4) Set the title for each page.
5) As for this image (
http://www.onletterhead.com/ImageLoader...71b83-50df-4d9c-9832-8500a5329fc5.gif) that you are using for your footer, I don't understand the light blue beneath the border. I'm assuming that's suppose to match the background color or background image. In your case it does neither. You either need to change that light blue to transparent, or match it with your background image.
6) I like the listings page, but I would make the image of the listing and the title both link to the same place the "Click here for more info..." link does.
7) If your listings are going to link off site, you should also make them target a new window. It makes it really hard to get back to your listings if it doesn't.
8) I'd question the need for the MLS link. It takes them off site and pretty much guarantees you won't be their realtor if they do find something there.
9) I'm assuming this site is still in development, so you probably already know this. The left hand navigation links are really funky. If I click the Listings link, when that page loads, the Search MLS link does not work. However, if I click the Home link, then the Search MLS link does work. However, it really doesn't because it tries to take me to
http://www.jononmaui.com/www.mls.com. Also, it's not wise to have the Home link appear after they go somewhere else. It should be at the top of the nav, and it should always be present, even if you are on the home page.
10) One final comment (didn't mean to make this so long). On your listings page, you might want to attach your name, email address, and a quick link to contact you for each listing. So they can look at it and then your contact information is right there for them. Right now, it's clear at the bottom of your listings page, which means most people won't see it when they need it.
