NVidia just because I hate Catalyst crapware. Not sure at this point that NVidia crapware is any less invasive but I still have the bias.

Their install package has check boxes so you use JUST the drivers and no other junk.

I just moved back to Nvidia after having a few rounds with AMD. From what I have seen, Nvidia is a lot more intrusive than AMD these days. The products are good, but there is a lot off extra junk installed for sure.

Apple - I like the way they look, and their stuff just works for me.
Anker - I really like the way they package their stuff.
Sony (recently) - I freaking love my A6000 camera and 4K TV.
PNY - Yea, this is a weird one for even me, but I am a fan of their SSD/Flash products. I don't even know why. I have two CS2111 SSDs, and 10+ USB flash drives and SDHC memory cards from them.
LG appliances - They make awesome french door refrigerators.

I am loyal (I guess you could say) to iPhones. The only reason is that my autistic son has knows iPhones and we play the same games on them. Actually at least once a day he plays the games on my phone to get my rewards for me. If not for that I would go for a Samsung phone is a heartbeat.

I would say that fits the title of the thread - loyal to a certain brand for an odd reason.

Women. I much prefer messing around with them in bed than the competition (men, sheep, blow-up dolls, etc.).

I have no brand loyalties. I do, occasionally, harbor brand disloyalties. If a brand does something to annoy me, I'll go out of my way to avoid them for a long time.

Same here. My primary brand disloyalty is Apple. I will never buy another Apple product unless forced to.

I like Samsung for TVs and monitors. They seem to have the best color IMO.

I buy Intel processors because I work for a major supplier of Intel for chip testing which is as good a reason as any to support them I guess. Although, we also sell to AMD. And we sell to Nvidia.

Sony headphones in the lower end cost market. They always sound the best to me and cost the least.

I have no loyalties -- logical or illogical.
I just buy the best product for the buck.

Logitech for keyboards and mice. Their customer service years ago won it for me.. Thankfully haven't needed to use it since.

Like someone said above, Anker and their packaging..

for some reason I keep getting ATI graphics cards. Never had an nvidia one. I think its more that the year I buy it, that year ATI trumps the other or is a better value

Intel CPUs because of AMD's bogus 3DNow claims. Nvidia cards because of a couple of ATI cards that died on me. Brother printers because they are reliable and have reasonably priced 3rd party toner that works without issues. Sandisk flash and Verbatim media. Otherwise I get whatever has the best quality at the best price when I need to buy. There are some brands that I actively avoid though, like Seagate, Razer, Microsoft and AMD, for one reason or another.

I've generally bounced back and forth on CPU's and GPU's and MOBO's over time.

Personally, just from personal experience, I generally buy ASUS MOBOs, WD Black HDD's, and GSkill Ram, though even have Corsair and OCZ in a couple for RAM.

And PSU's made buy Delta or Seasonic, however they are branded.

Only have a couple of monitors these days, But they are Dell and HP. I do like the Dell IPS myself.

Have a few Sammy SSD's, but have bought a few Crucials lately.

I tend to read reviews a lot and research things I guess before buying anything.

I just have never owned anything Apple personally I guess.

It's not bias really, they just always seemed way overpriced to me.

Nokia

They made the first GOOD cell phone I ever had.
And the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Nokia was also my first cell phone. Piece of shit died shortly after the one year warranty was up. it wouldn't boot up anymore. Never going back to them -- are they even alive anymore or did Microsoft buy them up? My 5 year old Samsung still kicking after like 20 drops.

I prefer Dell IPS monitors over most other monitors. Otherwise, I typically just buy the best product in my desired price range. Over the past 10 years or so, that's been mostly Intel and NVidia but I have owned several AMD CPUs and several ATI/AMD Radeons as well.

My 7-ish year old Dell PVA or something 24" monitor still kicking. No plans to upgrade. If I do, it'll be a Dell. And it looks like Dell has a lot of IPS monitor options now. I remember when i got my PVA that IPS used to be very difficult to find, only a few high end models had them.

I think my "brand loyalty" consists of sticking with stuff that works, not effing with success. All of it stems from reading good reviews/recommendations when looking for my first ______.

My only loyalty is the almighty dollar - I get whatever gets me the best bang for the bucks. Not cheap crap but not blind loyalty to any brand either.

Hm.

Corsair and PSUs. I don't even bother to look at other brands anymore really.
iPhone. Fallen into their ecosystem and it feels like too much work to go back to Android.

Fractal Design cases.

They are well-built tanks with just the right amount of features. My experiences with customer support have all been exceptional.

Mezzmo for my media streaming software.

Great product with features that Plex can't touch. It has lagged behind Plex for mobile streaming but that has been/will be fixed with their next software revision. The #1 reason is the customer service is better than anything I have ever experienced. I don't know how they do it but every e-mail gets a response as soon as they receive it in office sometimes within a minute or less and it has been the same 2 or 3 guys for the last bunch of years.

I feel you there. I have HATED LG for years because I felt too many of their products have a poor quality or just were lacking in some way or another that was annoying. I would go out of my way to avoid them or to avoid recommending them. Them making five inch Nexuses for years is why I don't have one. If there would have been a single five inch non LG Nexus I would own it.

But then those bastards made the OLED tv line that I find myself recommending a lot (even though I HATE their bait and switch rational for making them). And this year I needed a washer/dryer and I bought a LG set because Consumer Report loves them.

Sigh. Might as well just give in and buy that damn 5X too.

For some unknown reason I still prefer Craftsman tools over other brands.
I know that it doesn't really fit the tech theme of this thread but it's a brand loyalty I just seem to have.

Back in the day, NEC for monitors and TVs and VCRs. They had classy, bend over backwards customer service. Also back in the day, HP laser jets. They were over-engineered tanks. Still back in that long ago day, AR speakers and the original KLH audio.

Now, one of my big screens is a f*cking Haier.

For me I have to say I'll always buy EVGA if I'm buying an nvidia card. For cases I really like NZXT, though I may not use them forever. For SSDs I usually stick to Samsung and SanDisk.

As for preference, well I stick with iPhones as long as there is a jailbreak for them, and I don't think I could use any other tablet than an iPad. For screens I prefer ASUS, Dell and LG. PSUs are Corsair, EVGA, and Seasonic.

For now CPUs are Intel only, but that would change if next gen AMD is competitive or I get enough cash together to build a secondary PC for the cores they offer. For my primary PC single core performance is king though.
