On bootup my Tecra 780 at first asks "Insert System Disk in drive, Press any key...." I got a hard drive with a win98 partition on it, but same message (the hard drive is set with no jumpers "0", hope that means master). I got a cd drive next and the Knoppix bootable cd works and I can get into Linux! It's slow but it works. In Linux I can see my hard drive and access files on it and a usb compactflash card reader works too. I don't have a floppy drive, so I burned the files from a win98 startup floppy disk to a cd, but that doesn't work either, just "Insert System Disk" message. Bios is set to look for CD and HDD bootable first. Bios is set to Enhanced IDE, but standard IDE doesn't seem to help either. How do I get to a C: prompt to format C and load win98 from scratch if needed? Thanks!
