We've been over this already /facepalm

Ted Cruz as federal senator has very little in his hands as far as responsibility. He is responsible for representing the state of Texas in DC. Thats his ACTUAL role. Sure, he can help out - be it in person or over the phone - but he isn't in anyway obligated to or responsible to.

Vs. Democrats who PREACH one thing - but do another. Rules are for thee, but not for meeee!

Ted Cruz didn't preach one thing but do another. He wanted to go on vacation - and you wanted him to stay at home and suffer. That's really all it boils down to.

See Austin mayor releasing videos from his vacation in Mexico about how people shouldn't travel for the holidays during COVID. Boy gosh, golly, you sure thought that one through didn't you Mayor Dipshit?

Then of course we have many other Democrat examples of "Don't go out to restaurants or hair salons! Were closing them down! It's too dangerous for you to go!" Again, rules for thee, but not for mee!

Serious question:
Are you a true believer? Do you actually think anything you say is true or factual?

Or are you one of the many con artists in this country pushing the nonsense agenda thats plagued us for decades?

You arent making ANY money pushing your lies here, so I'm tempted to think you're one of the Believers.

Ted's problem is that he wants to advance his political career while progressively giving less of a shit about even the basic performative requirements of being a politician. Doesn't really work that way.

And Boehner still despises cruz.

John Boehner Tells Ted Cruz To 'Go F**k Yourself' In Rogue Audiobook Aside: Report

it almost hurts me how a I sometimes go back to memories of John Boehner and think "wow, I miss that guy!" But it's true, as rueful a thought as that is.

of course, I only ever think of Boehner when the subject of Ted Crus comes up, so it makes sense.

"I've never met a more miserable son of a bitch in my life."
--John Boehner, referring to Ted Cruz, c. 2015

oh wait, the full quote is in that article:

“I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life."

These idiots haven't figured out that only Donald can Donald, and get away with it. Presently, I have no explanation for it, but there it is.

Edit: I guess that's why they are so desperate to keep him around. But, a loser is still a loser.

That's strange, he never met Mitch Mconnell?

He set the stage for McConnell, he was his predecessor and (at that time) was one of the most obstructionist pieces of shit ever to serve in US Congress.

Turtleman learned some of his tricks from Boehner. He's more like a protege than anything, even if he's Boehner's elder. Boehner helped to show how the new hyper-partisanship would work as legislators.

Boehner was speaker of the HOR.

My opinion, he is either dishonest, mentally ill or a bit of both. Either way you are never going to have a rational dialog with him.

McConnell became the Republican Leader in the Senate in 2007. Boehner and him clearly worked together to thwart the Obama Presidency.

He has been vaccinated, therefore, quarantine is unnecessary, according to CDC.
But he is only 50, do you suppose he somehow cut in line, or used his power/privilege of office to be vaccinated?

He didn't seem to have any power/privilege of office to somehow provide any meaningful assistance to his constituents who were freezing in their homes.

Or perhaps he only plays the power/privilege of office card when he is the sole beneficiary.

I think you know the answer.

Wait, so Cruz disparaged a state in the US in favor of Mexico and yet they still want to build a wall🤔

It is official they want us to stop seeing other options that might at times work better. Why is there no Canadian Broadcasting on US cable? They have been afraid for decades to let Americans see alternatives. Very few Americans have any idea what happens north of the border and that is just fine as far as our government is concerned, I worked over 50% of the time for most of my work life in Canada dealing with Senior Executives of major corporations and Never did I find anyone in a hurry to get to the states for health care.

Don't you know, Senate creatures are essential personnel. I just found out from the guy who replaced me after I retired, that if I was still working at the base I would have been vaccinated even sooner for the same reason. The boats must go to sea.

The person working in grocery stores are more 'essential' than these leaches, and they are not on the list to get their shot yet.

Awwww, poor Teddy .....

I would be surprised that his approval was still 43% but there seem to be a lot of brainwashed republicans down in Texas.

I hope that poll is inaccurate but I bet it isn't. How can so many people still think the 2020 presidential portion of the election was rigged?
