This was not about racism.

If I threw an identical 1980s clock into an identical case, broke the latch off and wrapped a piece of wire around it to hold it shut, aroused suspicion with the alarm going off in a classroom, acted evasive and lied about what it was when questioned ("It's my invention. I built it."), then I would most certainly be arrested/detained and questioned. Period.

Make me repeat it again.

Since you aren't smart enough to figure this out on your own, did you know that just repeating something doesn't make it true?

You mean like how people keep repeating that this could only happen to a minority?

Why does the article refer to him as a Muslim teenager?

Do articles refer to people as "Christian teenagers"?

Oh that's right, we need to make it appear he's a part of a beleaguered minority. Identity Politics Uber Alles!

Articles refer to people as Christians all the time when their religious affiliation is believed to be potentially relevant to the story.

Do you not ever read the news or something? Before flying off in a rage about how much you hate liberals (and of course conservatives equally) take a step back and think objectively.

Or, that the family has a history of stunts.
It smells a lot like Richard Heene antics to me.

Clock is BS, 80's clock removed from casing and put into a box, 404 "invention" not found

Sister suspended for bomb threat

Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed (his father) has a laundry list of Islamic victim sensationalism.

Agreed, I said it was a balloon boy hoax some time ago. As more and more info comes out the case for that becomes stronger.

Especially the family squelching the schools side of the story.

They have waged war in the public, why not let the school be heard publicly?

What's sad is that not only have realnpeople been called racist by the family, but these people have been trashed online. And for what? A one sided narrative!

This is what you get when investigative reporting turns into sensationalistic twitterhead 24/7 streams of histrionics at 140 character soundbites.

For what its worth, the world would be a far far better place if Islam did not exist. That is an objective truth. Secular humanism is scientifically proven to be by far the best for humans, no religion comes remotely close to it in terms of human welfare.

Many countries with high rates of general happiness, good education and strong government services (Holland, Sweden, Czech Republic) are very well known for being secular and have high rates of Atheists. It's going to be interesting to see how much that changes with this influx.

"I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

That type of message needed to die hundreds of years ago, for it to still be around in the 21st century is plain stupid.

And Team Blue typically turns that into "ROFLWAFFLES WAR ON CHRISTIANS LOLMFAO!1!"

Religion has no relevance to this story. Bringing something to school that an ignorant teacher thought could be a bomb is the only relevant information.

"Bu bu bu bu he's a Muslim so that's the only reason they arrested him!!!"

Clearly. Only Muslims get arrested for this kind of thing.

1.) He didn't "invent" a clock.

2.) His sister has a history of making threats

3.) His father is an activist with a history of Alinsky style tactics and stunts

4.) He was told to put the clock away and did not listen to his English teacher's (after being told by other teachers to put it away in other classes) instructions when he was told to do so and purposely plugged in the clock into the wall in class and set it to go off during class time.

Because the 2 situations were exactly the same, right? One kid brings his clock to school, shows it to a teacher and then puts it back in his pack while these two :

"Shannon Farrell and La'Kia Hill, students at South Iredell High School in North Carolina, said they only meant to alarm students by putting two ringing clocks in an unused locker and having them go off at two different times."

Buncha truly desperate clowns terrified of a 14 year old kid.

It has nothing to do with the kid. It has to do with the dad, you fucking SJWs and howuch damage your pc bullshit is going to do.

But nice try at a strawman.

Except he didn't put it back in his backpack. In fact set an alarm so that it could go off in during the middle of his English class after being told by his English teacher (and several other teachers in other periods) to put the damn thing away.

And another member of the collective chimes in after getting their talking points.

Says the poster who needed the collective to come up with his talking points.

I'm sorry you're mistaking me with your own reflection. I didn't need anyone to tell me that I had to question this story and to realize that this was a BULLSHIT story that was more than likely created by someone (this kid's family) looking to push an agenda.

So pray tell why won't the parents release other talking points? Let the school lay out their version of events.

Wouldn't that be interesting?

What would be more interesting would be for you to have an original thought of your own rather rather than simply slinging the talking points you've been told to promote.

Boo! Scary 14 year kid!!!!
