Teenage Parties

Have any of you ever actually been to a huge house party like they show on television? Tons of people, alcohol everywhere, people randomly dancing or making out everywhere, etc?

NO, I was a geek, when we had parties there were usually about 10 people there.

Had about 50 people over my friends house... we all got drunk, yeah.

I always had parties with 5-15 friends... always had a great time. Never felt the need for a huge party, but supposedly they're common?

Nope, I was the kind of kid to call the cops on parties like that... then I'd laugh as the losers got carted off to jail. Then keep reminding them of how dumb they were for years to come.

Whenever we throw a party at my house, it generally gets to be over 100 people (it is just a 5 person house... me and my friends).

Downstairs in the basement we have a dance floor, the music run from my computer.

It is actually WAY harder than you might think to get peope to dance! Most of the time they just seem to want to hang out.

And no, we haven't had a "Girls Gone Wild" type of thing where chicks are taking off their clothes

edit: BTW this is college, so not entirely a "Teenage" party (I am 20 myself).

Ours was the same. I did a flyer for one once. I was surprised with all the flyers we had floating around that we didn't get busted.

Hahaha, it's my job to call the cops on parties like that. In truth, I really don't care what people do, as long as they're safe.

yea we have done teh same. in my town when anyone says "party" the word spreads like wildfire. and half teh town shows up. last time i had one there were eaisily 100+ peopel there. all that random stuff goes on. but none of teh Girl Gone Wild stuff . still fun. and its a lot harder to controll then you think

Yes, I have (except the people weren't randomly making out..) However, typically, once the party started really going, that's when the cops usually showed up. The best parties we had were the beach bonfires.

no. 10-15 friends not drinking just hanging out but still doing stupid stuff at random was more fun.

My friend and I (mostly him) get the record for having the most high school kids and cops showing up at one party.

My friend was throwing a party after the homecoming game at Manatee High School (about 3000 people). He was on the drumline and everyone knew him. Then, there was a football player with the same first and last name. The football player was also planning on throwing a party..

Anyway.. after the game, of course a car brigade starts up.. only this brigade was about 300 cars. Luckily, my friend lived just next to our neighborhood's clubhouse area which had a big parking lot. After the parking lot was full, a bunch more cars parked on the grass and stuff. People all just thought they were going to the football player's party - or they had already planned on my friend's party anyway.. Either way, EVERYONE went to my friend's party.

Of course the neighbors called the cops right away.. But it still took 2 hours for them to show up... and another 2 hours to clear everyone out.

All in all, I'd imagine 600 or 700 people were involved. The cops made everyone leave the parking lot. My friend kept his party going (about 30-40 people) with his door shut and the music off for a while until the cops left. The cops never caught on. It was sweet.

Even at my private school, people were talking about that party for a month.

You'll never get those years back... and laughing at the 'losers' will never make up for your lack of friends.

I have had a good 75 at my parent's house before. At my house the most I have ever had is 20 something.
