Say what? You fail basic English or something?[/QUOTE]

Seems like you are the one that failed. Plausible means it's likely to happen, possible means it could have happened. I really hope you haven't been using thesaurus like that your whole life because you have probably made a fool out of yourself many times and not even realized it.

. Black Teens + Tinted Windows + Music = Trouble..

I know that's always my assertion. Of course when does Black Teens + Tinted Windows + Music = Kindness.
I'm biased based on my environment and experience, it's a reality common for many.

ftfy. You guys are acting like these are only qualities you see in black teens. Why are they being judged based on race? Are you saying you've never run into a group of knucklehead teens that weren't black?

Good to know that some of you racially profile people. Let me make sure not to show my black face in your neighborhoods for Im afraid I might be assumed to be armed and dangerous.

Blame your culture and not yourself. Until you fix it more of this will happen.

Along with verbally threatening lives along with a weapon of another in ocuppied vehicle.

Society will no longer put up with that shit.

Racial profiling works.

My suggestion to you is start wearing bullet proof vests when you go out in public.

You're right. Lets go back to lynching all them. They had it right back in the day.

The irony is those calling for the head of Dunn are the lynchers.

History. Learn it.

The rule of law says innocent until proven guilty. Right now it looks like no crime committed other than felony assault by the teens.

We're you so ready to lynch the black woman who shot an unarmed man when was in her occupied vehicle?

Or was that different?

Fuck that guy.

If every kid got shot for playing music too loud, we wouldn't very many making it past 15.

No Im comparing what you're proposing to lynching. Really I dont see any felony assault? Lemme know when you see a black person innocent until proven guilty.

Black lady shooting unarmed white guy.

Yeah. Her shooting was totally justified.

Strange you can't even find that story.

Race has nothing to do with this. Unless you are racist.

You really need to look up what a lynch mob is. You really need to learn history. When you can explain lynching in your own words. Until then you are ignorant. Willfully so.

So Dunn is innocent until proven guilty but its a foregone conclusions that that the teens committed the crime of felony assault? Can you make it through 1 post without contradicting yourself?

Yep, worked great up until the 1950s. Them black folks were mighty humble when they feared they'd be hung or shot if they didn't sit in the back of the bus let alone played music loudly.

Racial profiling works.

"Lynching, as a form of punishment for presumed criminal offenses, performed by self-appointed commissions, mobs, or vigilantes without due process of law took place in the United States before the American Civil War and afterwards, from southern states to western frontier settlements."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynching

Lemme know the day that you're no longer ignorant to the fact that you're racist and particularly to African-Americans.

Uhh, that is a stupid statement to make. You do know that the words plausible and possible are synonymous right?

Besides, you said there was no plausible explanation and I gave you a perfectly plausible one. That may not be WHAT happened, but based off what we know of the case from the media it is a possibility. Also one that must be investigated by police.

Jesus Christ you sound stupid.

Let me break it down for you in elementary school terms:

POSSIBLE: something that may or may not occur

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/possible

PLAUSIBLE : appearing worthy of belief

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plausible

As for the second part of your post, you believe your explanation is PLAUSIBLE...I don't think it is...simple as that.

I said they are synonyms and they are. Take a look again. You are attaching your own higher definition to both words.

You are entirely confusing possible/plausible with PROBABLE. Which is a common misconception. Probable is something that is more likely to occur. Possible and plausible mean the exact same thing, but usually plausible is used in the context of law or science versus possible which is used in general English.

No you idiot. The difference is in the context they are typically used and not the meaning. Plausible is used in law and science for example because it is used in reality possibilities. Possible as a word can deal with more abstracts. Their meanings are the same but are typically applied in different contexts although they can be interchanged if need be.

You are confusing both words with PROBABLE which means out of any possible/plausible explanations, the probable explanation is the more likely to occur possibility.

Gee, and I thought this was a tech forum.

Probable and Plausible are more synonymous with each other than Plausible and Possible.

http://www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&q=define:plausible

plau·si·ble/ˈplôzəbəl/
Adjective:

(of an argument or statement) Seeming reasonable or probable.
(of a person) Skilled at producing persuasive arguments, esp. ones intended to deceive.

It's possible that I will win the lottery 5 consecutive drawings in a row, but it is not probable or plausible.

wow... everyone's got a gun these days??

In Florida, yes. I moved to Jacksonville from nj 9 months ago. I worked in NY and moved down here to work for an investment bank. Spent time in Newark and New Brunswick for school. Jersey city for work. All cities that arent the best with crime and never had a problem. I have never seen so many guns in the hands of stupid people. I live a quarter mile from this gas station in one of the nicest parts of jax and drove past it when it was roped off.... What a shame, a car full of high school kids had to deal with this and now this idiot is pulling the stand your ground card saying the kid had a shotgun. Stupid.....
