Because Mr. Dunn was defending himself from a clear, credible and imminent threat from Davis all 7 shots were justified self defense. No crime was committed in that homocide nor those shots.

This, since Davis had no weapon, didn't physically attack Dunn the "threat" came down to a smack-talking teen, nothing more. If it's found that it's OK in FL (or anywhere else) that a verbal threat alone is grounds for killing someone this country is going downhill fast. Imagine all the road-rage incidents that happen all over the country everyday, and if in any one of those a verbal threat is issued it's OK to shoot dead an unarmed man, sad indeed..
Your joking right? all those shots at a vehicle trying to leave the scene is what got him convicted of the other charges. Really, Dunn will spend the rest of his life in jail, I'm thinking he's not too "happy" right now. Prosecution should have went for 2nd degree murder as 1st implies a premeditated plan to kill someone which this certainly wasn't. They more than likely re-try him on 2nd degree charges although with 75yrs mandatory without chance of parole some might argue it's a waste of taxpayer's $$ since Dunn will die in jail anyway...

Are you absolutely 100% certain that he did not?The important part of your post is "have the means to do so", how does Davis present that threat since he's unarmed and Dunn is packing?, this is a jury of morons, that's my only conclusion, if Davis produced a weapon or attempted to strike Dunn then different story..

That's a very valid point and I won't even debate as to how stupid Davis was in uttering those words, but given the heat of the moment people (specially younger people) have a tendency to "run off at the mouth" so to speak. If Davis pointed a gun at Dunn or got out and attacked him then I would have voted not guilty if I were a juror but Dunn knew it was just a bag of hot air and nothing more but in his mind he now had a reason to shoot an unarmed person he obviously didn't like..
