Unfortunately it's proven that men are highly visually based. Women are more emotionally based.

Not all men would walk out on a 'life-partner' over some handicap like this, but many would.

Not all women would stand by a man that lost part of himself either. They'd be more willing to give up sexual parts though than facial features.

Age also has a big play in this.

Tats and piercings are as old as man pretty much. It's almost like religion to some that are into it.

I have neither. I am attracted to some with a lot of tats and piercings and other's it's a turn-off. It's art in a way and everyone's likes are different.

I am not going to tell anyone what they can and cannot do to their bodies other than giving advice about it. If I had a child then I think I would have to severely weigh their emotional maturity to decide that. I don't have kids, but I can imagine how wrecked I'd be knowing my daughter was out going through being used for sex or just out enjoying it. I feel almost strongly if I knew my son was just out nailing chicks by telling them stories or letting them believe they meant something to him. At the same time I would hope either had a healthy sex life as that is a big part of being human and growing up...I just don't think I'd want to know much details .

There is some neat tattoo stuff that is only black light visible. I am just there is some sort of scarring visible in normal light if searched for, but that's a good Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde approach for those who have professional lives that sort of exclude the unprofessional ones :evil:

I agree.
It was a totally unnecesary body modification to which she knew the risks (or at least should have), and she chose to do it anyway.
Especially given her known medical condition.
