Temperature Problems

Hey everyone, well ever since I installed my XP-90 I've been having a lot of temp problems. The temperatures I'm getting are seriously jokes, 45C idle temps are just ridiculous. Everyone claims to get 30-35C but this 45C is just horrible. I waited a couple of days after I installed hoping that maybe if I work it a little, it will burn in and cool down, that wasn't the case, so I decided to reseat the XP-90. Took off the heatsink, cleaned the thermal compound, re-applied AS5, reseated, and still horrible temps.

Basically this is how it goes,
CPU
Stock Idle: 38C
Stock Load: 58-60C
XP-90 Idle: 45C
XP-90 Load: 58-60C

My loads didn't increase/decrease, but my idle did, WTF is going on here? My system temps were 25C in BIOS. Its fairly cold in this room, I have the AC and the fan on, I'm actually cold sitting here myself.

Just to answer an obvious questions, I have the 2X80MM fans in the front of my case, the 1X80MM fan on the back, and a 120MM blowhole at the top of my case. The fan on my XP-90 is a Panaflo 42CFM@27DBA. The fan at the top is a 120MM Antec TriCool. Wire management isnt a proble, as theres no wires in the front of my case, I routed all of them through the back.

I really don't get whats going on, my GPU is insanely hot, 59C idle when I use to get 54 on stock! I don't get any of this, I spent ~$120 on all these parts (Sleeved cables, AS5, XP-90 + Fan, Zalman) and its all just for looks?

I tried to reseat the XP-90 thinking that it wasn't making contact with the core, which I was wrong, because its sitting perfectly, theres no other way to seat it...

No I seriously doubt it will show that much of a temp drop!!

One thing I would do is possibly plug the fan hole on top of your case!

I would maybe move the tri cool to the back of your case and get rid of that 80 mm fan you say you have!!

Another thing I had a 120 mm Antec TriCool In didn`t like it becuase I just felt it was not displacing enough air!
I went with a thermaltake Smart fan....Noiw that fan displaces alot of air!!

Just esxperiment I am sure you will come up with a configuration that works!!

Good Luck!!
