Temps on AMD 3200+ <30C, even when gaming!

Seems like my mobo is misreading it or something. My HSF is set to turn off when it is <25C and in Windows, its almost always off. Is this bad? I really don't see why, but even when gaming (UT2004) its no more then 27C, Stock everything. I have 4 case fans, 2 front 2 back, a psu fan (OCZ Modstream 420W). Anyway, my rig is in my signature, I would like some input on how rare this is, and if I should do something, if anything.

How warm is your hs? Could be that the diode may be off so you may need to set the temp threshold lower..

Ambient temperature? My processor idles around 28C and is usually around 38C under load - if the area where your PC is is particularly chilly, that may be the cause. My place is generally around 70F.

I just opened the side put my hand in, and it was cool, I mean a breeze. Wow, Seems like really good airflow to me, the HSF was pretty cool as well, and I just played Far Cry for around 30 minutes on top of Ut2004 for 45 minutes.

The 90nm Athlon 64s run pretty cool, especially with Cool n Quiet on.

HAHA, no, but it is about 65-70F usually in my house. I like it cool, as do my parents. Anyway, this baby is cool under load, its kind of a shocker to me. I will overclock this soon enough, for now I want to atleast play some HL2, then when I get bored, I will OC.

Damn... very very nice.

My 3200+ at stock speeds loads at 32-33C, and that's better then most albeit I also keep the place rather cool.
With Cool n' Quiet enabled I usually idle around 18-21C, under 21C, the fan shuts off completely.

Same deal here no cool and quiet on but I usually see 29-32c after gaming for hours at stock.
Maybe you and I just got lucky with our 90nm. 65F or so ambient in room. (Its always cool here)
