Hey guys,
A friend of mine just bought a new house and both of the Temptrol Shower Valves are installed incorrectly. The valve control is upside down when in the off position, so when you turn it to hot, you get cold and vice-versa. It seems like it should be a quick fix -- pop off the lever and reverse it, but I haven't been able to find any information on how it comes apart. My only sortie down there resulted in me getting soaking wet.
There are screws on either side, but I think that if I undo that it will take the facade off, not the lever itself.
