Actually, I'm SoCal, going to college in NY. If USC can't win, then it better be someone from the Pac 10.

Let me change my original statement to Florida didn't impress me in the 2 games of thiers that I watched.

HAHAHA Florida sucks. Man we whipped their asses tonight. UT just controlled the line of scrimage on both sides. Travis Stephens ran all OVER that D (or lack their of). They were saying before the game that this was Floridas best defense ever coached by Spurrier. HAHAHAH!!!

Texas also lost!!! Woot!!!

UT controls their own fate now. If they win the SEC Campionship against LSU (which they should and will), they will be ranked 2 in the BCS and play Miami in the Rose Bowl. THATs going to be a VERY tough game.


Oh yeah. Does anyone know why Steve Spurrier wears a sun visor????

All they said on TV before the TN vs FL game was how FL was the only team that could match up against Miami. Now that TN easily handled FL (two turnovers by Witten is all that kept it close) I would say that they will not only match up against Miami but will beat them by 14 in the Rose Bowl......as long as they make it past LSU. There QB always worries me.

However, Tennessee is the deserving team - but they wont be able to play with Miami -

Tennessee beat the gators because they got to Grossman - Good luck doing that against Miami's Front 5 - best in the country and then some.

Miami is too talented - nobody can beat them this year.

Tennessee by 14?

They'll be lucky to lose by 14.

An understatment if there ever was one. Anyone who thinks Florida is getting into the BCS championship game with two losses is sadly mistaken. Remember that record played a part in that decision? Who cares if they have the talent, they have the losses. Remember the BCS runs on a set formula that assures the top two ranked teams get in the game.

Thats tougher than both Nebraska and Florida

Sugar Bowl is BCS vs a BCS, which the final BCS hasn't been announced, so how do you know who's playing where? I'm not going to say it wont happen, cause it might, but you dont know for sure.

Riiiiiiight. Dont spout off your mouth at me and try to tell me i dont know what i'm talking about. Then spew false info and try to act like i'm the dumb one. riiiiight.

Miami had a 15th rank SOS, but UT's was around #6 a few weeks ago, fell to 12#, but will be in the top 7-8 again after the florida game. Also we have to play LSU in the SEC championship. UT does have the talent to compete against Miami, but it all depends on if the teams click after the long layoff before the bowl game. Remember Miami could come in and suck it up because of the 4 weeks off and UT could play better cause they have a game next week and less time off. It depends on a good bit of factors over just talent. Talent doesnt make a team win....teamwork, execution, margin of turnovers (and points scored off turnovers) is what really counts. Also controling the line of scrimage. They both have decent running backs, so whoevers running back runs wild has a better chance of winning.

If you pull out your history books, you'll remember a certain Sugar Bowl team on Jan. 1st, 1986 that came in BIG underdogs against Miami...and then ripped them a new one on their way to beating them 35-7. Tennessee embarassed Miami then, and will do it again.

Side note, Tennessee is hosting Miami for homecoming next year...should be a good chance for Miami to get revenge on UT for stealing their title this year.

Also if you remember, UT came in as big underdogs to Florida State in the 1998 Fiesta Bowl. Who became National Champs? It's not about talent or records. Personal i think we play a harder sched than Miami against better teams (big east??). It's all about who brings it that night and comes to play.
