Tennis players: overgrip or not?

I'm starting to get into tennis again, so I thought I'd ask how many players use overgrip on their rackets. If so, what kind?

I used to use Absorb-mor that was pretty cheap and did the job. They sold at Big 5 and were less than 3 bucks for a 3-pack. They had funky colors, like neon green and pink, and also a blue and black. Anyone know what happened to those?

I'm trying to find a new one to use. Currently trying Tourna Grip.

I prefer using Head Overwrap, costs me about $5.00 for a three pack at my local shop, been using them for years and I have zero complaints. The UPC is 726424409136 if it helps iotone

I also use Head on my racket. I've had it on for a few years now and have no complaints.

I enjoy three in particular. Whatagrip (which is just way too damn expensive to use all the time since theyre torn after a match or two), tournagrip, or these. I like the Wilsons the best as they last the longest are easier to apply then the tournagrips and I prefer their feel.

I have 3 and only use overgrips on 2 of them (I double grip 2 raquets with 4 3/8 grips and leave the 4 1/2 be).

Overgrips change the size of your raquet by about 1/16", and I feel this is more of an impact on your swing than the texture.

Also, after you find one you like, don't buy 3-packs or whatever. Buy 30-50 at a time or whatever you can find in bulk. They're way better when they're fresh =)

Tournagrip. It may not last the longest but feels better than anything else I've used.

I prefer the Yonex Supergrap (got a 30-pack just today). Really tacky, and pretty stretchy so I can get a firm grip with a leather replacement grip underneath.

People tend to find Wilson Pro Overgrip to be pretty good also, soft and feels pretty nice.

Tournagrip, although can be used on both sides, rips so fast on either side, but great for absorption and a great feel if you have the money. Why else do pros use it so often?

Most people on TW prefer either the supergrap or pro overgrip though.

i use tournagrip... there's two kinds.. i think one was "original" or something and then there's the other one that i like better
