oh, ok...that makes more sense now.
Made 1 of every class except priest and played to about level 4 on all of them except sorcer. I kept going with that class to like level 6 or 7 so far.
Archer, Sorceror, and Lancer seem to the most fun to me so far. Might stick with sorc for a bit longer.
All the classes are pretty fun, and easy through, say the 20-22 range, which is when the first dungeon opens up. The game does get more difficult then, but if you've learned your class, it's not to bad.
My main is a 39 berserker, which is my favorite class. But, from all the chatter i see about classes, they are supposed to be one of the 2 lowest damage classes at end game (along with archer). I could definately see where zerkers might be at a disadvantage in pvp, at least (I dont pvp myself). They hit hard, but slow swings, plus alot of charge up skills.
As of right now, lancers are the most needed class. They can que for a dungeon, and get a group rolling immediately. Any other class (which includes healers) usually wait for 30+ minutes. This might change in the near future, as warriors are supposed to be getting a tanking buff (they are currently unable to que as a tank). I guess we'll have to just wait and see how that plays out.
I think my second favorite class is the Mystic, mostly because of the thrallls. My main in EQ was a shaman, and in WoW, I played a hunter. I see alot of people dissing the thrall of protection as being useless, but he has a boat load of health, and can tank for days. I usually just sent him in, let him build some agrro, and then i can nuke away as much as I want, with no danger at all. Perhaps some might think thats boring. Either way way though, its like playing on easy mode. Heck, It's been a couple weeks, so i don't remember to well, but I might have had him tanking bam's too. Well, I've only gotten mine up to 23, so maybe the thrall of protections usefullness changes later on, i dunno.
Probably the 1 character I dont really want to play to much is a Sorceror. They are a great class, but I dont think I'm skilled enough not to die to much playing one of those
