Production has officially wrapped on the upcoming "Terminator" reboot and star Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed the title for the film in a post on his Facebook - Terminator Genisys. Schwarzenegger revealed the title along with an image of him on the set which you can check out below.

It sucks that I have to wait a whole year just to see this movie.

I think the title is kinda stupid, but it's based on Sarah Connor in the 50's growing up.

I mean, I like that director a lot but jeez this is a hard sell.

I would have prefered something like "Terminator 3 no longer exists, here is the sequel Terminator 2 should have had."

Kinda like how Mega Man 9 is what Mega Man 3 should have been.

i liked the last terminator, actually. i liked it better than the abomination T2 was.
yeah yeah i know you guys loved that film but to me T1 was all about the bad guy being BAD, and in T2 it just turned into a pussy. height of the P.C. crusade;
the kid telling him "dont kill anyone" was particularly hilarious/sad/bad.
any normal teenager in the 90s would have told aaarnold "kill them all; let god sort them out"

The Genisys has been around for well over ten years. I hope OTC sues them. This movie has no reason to exist, anyway.

The 11 month wait on this seems rather paltry compared to the WarCraft movie. That movie finished filming in May of this year, and it doesn't come out until March... of 2016. Yes, that's nearly two years spent in post-production. We're just getting so much CG in our Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies that there's so little filming required. I'm rather interested to see how long Star Wars: Episode VII takes since J.J. Abrams said that it will have significantly more practical effects!

(Insert nerds arguing about the amount of practical effects in the prequels here.)

The Terminator and The Terminator 2: Judgment Day are two different types of films. The prior is a Sci-Fi/Horror where the latter comes off as far more of an Action/Suspense/Sci-Fi movie. I tend to liken it to the difference between Alien and Aliens, and look who directed Aliens.

Gators gonna gait, but heaven help me I liked Salvation. I liked that they went into the future for once and saw life in a post judgment day environment instead of being stuck in the past/present all the time.

First of all, you blaspheme against the holiest of holy movies, terminator 2, and that is unforgivable. But honestly, how can you get this wrong? The bad guy WAS bad, he was the t1000. And arnold was the good guy. Thats pretty much the premise of the whole movie, if that was somehow lost in you, might I suggest some Frozen or perhaps maybe the Lion King instead?

I actually didn't mind Terminator: Salvation as I've watched it more than once... on purpose! The beginning is interesting because it's an insight into someone's depiction of a post-apocalyptic world, which we've only ever seen glimpses of in previous Terminator movies. I agree though that it fell apart near the end... or rather just fell into a somewhat generic and tedious grind.

Hmm, I should watch it again, though I just remember being very bored by it. I really only like the first Terminator movie anyway, so it's not like I went in with huge baggage or expectations, I was just hoping for a decent, fun sci-fi flick, but it certainly did not turn out that way as I recall.
