Terrible episodes of great shows.

Just about every long-running or critically acclaimed show has at least one major stinker in its run. It's just inevitable when you have so many episodes, some of them are gonna be duds. Sometimes, these episodes can be just as well-known as the great episodes.

I'll start with Code of Honor from TNG. Everything, from the racist undertones thanks to the baffling decision to make the actors playing a primitive alien race who lust after strong women black to the terrible fight scene makes me wonder how anybody involved thought this episode was a good idea.

I always thought that the episode of Breaking Bad where Walt was chasing the fly around the meth lab sucked. Others say that I missed the symbolism of it, though.

Personally, I think that the production budget ran out and they needed to figure out a way to film an hour of content on the cheap.

The dream one with the fish on The Sopranos was just as equally bad.

Whatever happened to that free iPod shit? I remember it had something to do with referral links or something - and if you sucker enough people to click on it and order something or something you can actually get a free ipod or something I thought?

The problem obviously was getting people to click your links and buying something or whatever it was.

I just can't stand to watch more than 10 seconds of this particular episode, and is the only Family Guy episode that is like that.

Looks like it was basically getting people to sign up for free trials - the ones where you have to give a credit card so it auto rebilled when it was over.

Overall though, I would figure it could still be done. Just gotta find enough people willing to do that shit.

But the Girls versus Suits episode was terrible, before the show completely dived.

Can't actually think of an example. Closest I can think of would be the entire first series of Blackadder. The three subsequent series were vastly superior.
