Because I don't live in the US and I thought that it might be common knowledge to people in the US?
I'm not sure why you are getting pissy about this. I just wanted to know if the safety standards of trucks and cars are different in the same way that trucks didn't need to meet the same emission targets (yup I get that emissions are irrelevant in this case) as cars because they are classed as a different thing (I wont use the phrase "commercial vehicle" again, I didn't realise that it would be so triggering!).

What are you wanting? Engineering data from the test, what data are you wanting?

Basically is that the standard for all vehicles in the US? Do trucks get tested differently?

I'm only asking because someone pointed out that the CT would be illegal in Europe because it hasn't had any official crash testing done. I just wanted to know if that's the standard for all the rest of the vehicles on US roads.

There is homogenization around vehicle crash testing worldwide. As far as what would be required to sell a CT in the EU. You would need to talk to someone in the industry to get the full details.

There's a couple of reasons the CT won't be sold in the EU.
One is mandatory crash testing by a relevant authority. Which is entirely where my line of questioning came from!

That's a stretch, in regards to this case. Sure the insurance landscape has changed, but this? No you can't excuse this with that. This is yet another of the special CT characteristics.

If that was a 100K Beamer, they'd fix it. In that case it would be more a rear ender though. Since the front of the Incel Camino is the frunk/trunk, it would only be fair, otherwise a front impact on the Beamer would be hitting the engine.

The fact this totals a CT for 100K+ when it's in the first few months of release is a CT problem. This is turning out to be one of the biggest lemon launches ever when you consider all the angles. On the second recall already too. I mean this could not turn out more fitting.
Make, model, and to a certain point purchase price are usually not a factor when determining if a vehicle is considered totaled.

In the two instances highlighted in the article the first was a head on collision with airbag deployment. Like @Brovane mentioned once airbags deploy the chance of the vehicle being totaled goes up significantly. Beyond just body and suspension damage there may have also been motor or even worse battery pack damage.
If an adjuster even gets a little fuzzy feels in his gut concerning battery pack damage the vehicle will be instantly totaled. That is just the way it is with EVs.

The second totaled Cybertruck suffered from flood damage. In an EV this is an automatic death sentence for the vehicle. I could give to shits about what the CEO of Tesla says about it being a boat. If the adjuster determines the water reached a certain point its game over man. Especially if it is determined that the water level was high enough to potentially compromise the battery pack. That is end game for an EV.

The CT can't even handle a car wash. That is just one of a million things that show what a total snake-oil conman Elon is though.

It is unlikely that this is true. While I really enjoy our back in forth in this thread I really need to know that you know the difference between a car wash and a flood.
