Fill out the registration form, and click "send". You will be emailed a test drive certificate to print. Present it to your dealership on the day of your A3 test drive. Once you complete your A3 test drive experience, your dealer will confirm your visit, and you will receive an email with your iTunes redemption code and instructions for downloading your 33 free songs from iTunes.

Same here, I have an '03 A4 sedan, but am anxious to check out the A3 as well as the B7 A4s in general. Fortunately, I work about 5 minutes away from the dealer.

I signed up, but this one is weird. There's only a confirmation number to give to thew dealer. Nothing to mail in. If I don't want to waste my time or the dealer's, will they bother to confirm this deal?

Will who bother to confirm this deal? That's all they (Audi) said they would give you-a confirmation number. If you read the email that they send to you, it instructs you to print it out, take it to the dealer, and once you complete a test drive, they will in turn provide you with a code that you can use for your free songs. Not sure where the confusion lies.

I drove a 2-door A3 in Germany, got it to 240 kph (~150mph) on the Autobahn - badass ride. I'll wait till they come out with the coupe, 4-doors makes me feel old.

you can't please everyone.. btw the look of the new a4 is really growing on me esp the nose. the back end however is not.

The 2-door will not be coming over to the U.S. Only the 4 door will be available.

Exactly how I feel. I really like the 2004 tail, and the front of the new A4 is looking really nice to me, as well as the side profile.

You know, after seeing the title of your thread the first thing I thought was "Wow they finally brought it stateside?!" but then going to the Audi website brought confusion as to what the hell I was looking at. Where was the 3 door Audi I was expecting?
Apparently nowhere, since the only thing I saw was an abomination that has apparently also been added to the European Audi lines. Ugh.

I spent the summer in England and definitely thought the A3 was a unique little hatchback coupe I wouldn't mind owning (mind you, my last car was a 2-Door hatch Civic Si "euro" style which everyone stateside thought was an ugly). Of course, over there I also saw a Civic Type-R which made me feel just plain giddy finally seeing it in the flesh.

But I guess America is more in love with SUVs than hatchbacks as far as vehicles without trunks go. I was on the Kingston, ON city website today and noticed how they were urging people to try and reduce their yearly greenhouse emissions by one ton and found it funny that on the little chart of what you could cut down on, a single SUV would put you well over what the average Canadian puts out in greenhouse gases TOTAL. That includes all that house heating (which is actually very significant too, plus Canada is hella cold), a fireplace, plane flights, whatever. I also thought "oh yeah...other countries actually signed Kyoto...." which is something I guess you don't really realize most of the time.

Anyways what was my point...ah yes, they shouldn't make the A3 a four-door, or should at least OFFER the 2 door option.

At any rate, this car doesn't really spark any fire in me that some other car doesn't already...in fact, I dare say that the A4 is more attractive to me.

But my heart has been stolen by the new IS350 anyway =P

RS4 will absolutely be hitting these shores in 2006... minus the cool steering wheel and seats apparently however. and it looks like we arent getting the wagon version but if you want one you better tell your dealer soon.. probably will sell out
