<< 28 out of 30 on the Mensa test. No. 19 is impossible. >>

I got 27 out of 30 on the Mensa test, and couldn't do 19 either. I also missed the last one and the names of the months one.

100%... HS sophomore. It's intentionally easy, you can't very well tell everyone they need to brush up on science.

<< 89%...marked the one about energy wrong in the 4th grade level...ha...woo >>

That's what I got [and what I did wrong].

Hey, I'm still in high school... not too bad, I guess. Then again, I might have a better excuse if 4th grade had been longer ago for me.. lol

<< Thanks for taking our quiz. You answered 89% of the questions correctly. >>

I got the last one wrong...anybody care to explain the answer to me?

A 10-liter sample of CO2 gas contains the same number of molecules as how many liters of O2 gas at the same temperature and pressure?

on gases. co2 and o2, tho different masses, are both 'particulate' (not looking to bond with other particles). so the same number of 'particles' exists in both samples, so equal numbers of molecules exert same pressure in same volume. this applies to even much more significant differences in compound mass.

I got 89%, but I'm not buying this BS:

<< 6. To keep a heavy box sliding across a carpeted floor at constant speed, a person must continually exert a force on the box. This force is used primarily to overcome which of the following forces?
d. The gravitational force exerted by the Earth on the box. is not correct. The correct answer is:
c. The frictional force exerted by the floor of the box.

52 percent of students answered correctly

Where the hell do they think the "friction" comes from? If there were no gravity, there would be no friction.
