You're concerns are a remnant of a binary gender culture anyways, it's just so much more complicated than that. What about a girl that likes girls? Or a guy that is now a girl that likes girls but still has a penis that can get hard? The possibilities are endless.

With the gender revolution the one thing we have come away with, is that sex and gender apparently is subjective and labels do not apply. As such, just do away with it, and get over it.

i'm pretty sure "gay rights" and "LGBT rights" are synonymous in the big picture.

I look at it differently. I say no such thing as gay rights since all are supposed to be treated equally under the law.
Everyone's sexual preference or style of dress preference or emotional preferences are supposed to be treated equally under the law. Therefore I don't give a crap about alphabet soup or stupid labels. A person is a person and they need to poop and pee.
The problem is assholes creating laws or encouraging behaviors that deny rights to segments of society when all they want to do is drop a deuce in peace.

I dont care about binary or cis or whatever terms get tossed around. A person is a person. I don't need to hear about your damn love life. That's your business.

Papers are insufficient, it must be a physical inspection and video taped to be used as "evidence" for investigations by the state legislature to make sure their will is being carried. Lots and lots of evidence is required, that will need to be delivered daily to their homes. It's a tough job but they need to make sure, they will look at all the genitals just to be safe.

Fun story,

The wife and I were waiting in line at Target to return something's when the couple behind us started arguing about their daughter going to the bathroom.

The husband wanted to let the girl (about 10) go to the bathroom but the wife whispered/hissed, "She doesn't go to the bathroom here without me! It's not safe! Remember?"

She sort of said it in our direction like she was looking for concurrence. Luckily for her we ignored her otherwise my wife and I would have had a few choice words for her.

This move by the Texas Lt Governor appeals to those type of gullible fearful people. It's pathetic. And what's worse is they are teaching their kids to be fearful of other Americans who are different.

1) There are literally no women who have this fear and passing such a law doesn't alleviate it. If a guy wants to walk into a bathroom and rape/peep/assault women, this dumbass law isn't changing that.
2) Transgender people have been going into opposite bathrooms and locker rooms for years believe it or not. You have almost certainly at some point been in a public bathroom with a transgender person and didn't know or care yourself.

The evidence is clear, there is nothing to actually protect women from and its mostly a means of pandering and distracting their base with big politicized announcements (there was a press conference btw on this), whilst quietly and under the table cutting millions of dollars funding for schools, healthcare, roads, etc things that actually matter
