They rang up as "enter price" at the register so I grabbed a few of them for $1.50 each

The TI92's are NOT on the discontinued list at OMX. That store might have ran a local deal but in the corporate system they are listed as an item we will continue to carry. (We still have 3 on order and our delivery center has plenty in stock) And corporate is not stupid enough to price cut it by $140 - discontinued items are price cut a little less dramatic, usually around a $30 price drop monthly/bi-montly. Case in point: We had a Compaq 15" M250 (I can't remember exact model #) and a HP M50 monitors clearanced @ $200.00 by corporate. Our manager was so desperate to get rid of them that he sold me the M50 for $40 - brand new in box. CompUSA & BB both sell it for $249.99.

Well, I snagged 3 graphlinks for a grand total of $6.27 including CA tax from the Vista Target, so I guess the markdown fairy was working overtime in that store. Thanks for the heads up, Rod, and sorry others, they're all spoken for.

I want a graph link for my ti 82 soo bad. I have had this calculator since 8th grade and have always had to manually copy good programs off the internet. I will have to look into this deal. Thanks

MANUALLY copy programs off the net? haha, that sounds ridiculously tedious... and to top it off, you can only enter in programs using TI's abridged version of BASIC. all the better programs are written in assembly, and can only be sent via graphlink software, if i remember correctly.

who said that the PC cables were black and the MAC ones grey? maybe its either way or something? cause i have a graphlink cable for my pc, and it's grey... man, i remember when these things used to run for a ridiculous $70... no wonder people were making them themselves...

I noticed that Texas Instruments has some
information on discontinued calculators at
http://www.ti.com/calc/docs/otherp.htm.
I do not see how I could use any of these new
interfaces with my old TI-58C and TI-59 calculators.
It has been a while since I was in college and
needed most of the scientific functions though.

dude8 - the multi-markdown red price tags all have 080 01 0034 across the top, and the UPC on the package is 33317 19822. Hope this helps you find them.

vumonster: sorree... i don't have an extra one to sell you.. but i hope that this helps you.. you will most likely find one in the electronics section where all the calculators are (whether scientific or the graphing ones).... good luck!
